The device is intended to provide end users with accurate fluid metering in laboratory R&D, test stand, pilot plant, process, and general industrial applications. When in operation the V200 controller enables pump speed settings to be adjusted manually in 0.1% increments using an onboard digital potentiometer or electronically using a PLC or other process instrumentation controlled via an electronic 4-20mA interface. The V200 is capable of the incremental variable control of fluid flows from zero up to 4 l/min in both forward and reverse flow directions claim the manufacturers although this is dependant on the reversibility of the pump head and drive configuration specified on the chosen pump model that is to be fitted with the stroke rate controller. Front mounted toggle switches should allow end users to easily change the flow direction if so desired and to switch between manual and electronic control as the need arises. The V200 can operate with V-Series pumps working on pressures of up to 6.9 bar. To ease installation procedures, the stroke rate controller is equipped with a versatile multi- position stand with key slot holes suitable for both wall mounting or counter top operation.
