The V200 stroke rate controllerfrom Fluid Metering Inc (FMI) isdesigned to control thecompany’s V-Series of variablespeed metering pumps. Thedevice is intended to provideend users with accurate fluidmetering in laboratory R&D,test stand, pilot plant, process,and general industrialapplications.

When in operation the V200controller enables pump speedsettings to be adjustedmanually in 0.1% incrementsusing an onboard digitalpotentiometer or electronicallyusing a PLC or other processinstrumentation controlled viaan electronic 4-20mA interface.

The V200 is capable of theincremental variable control offluid flows from zero up to 4l/min in both forward and

reverse flow directions claim themanufacturers although this isdependant on the reversibilityof the pump head and driveconfiguration specified on thechosen pump model that is tobe fitted with the stroke ratecontroller.

Front mounted toggle switchesshould allow end users to easilychange the flow direction if sodesired and to switch betweenmanual and electronic controlas the need arises. The V200can operate with V-Seriespumps working on pressures ofup to 6.9 bar.

To ease installation procedures,the stroke rate controller isequipped with a versatile multi-position stand with key slotholes suitable for both wallmounting or counter topoperation.

The V200 stroke rate controller is designed to be used in conjunction withFMI’s V-Series of variable speed metering pumps.
