Yannis Ritsos 1909-1990 Greek poet Ritsos moved from an early
concern with classical themes and style to a more personal type of

Ralph Angel Born in Seattle Washington, 1951. Published author:
Twice Removed (Sarabande Books, 2001) Neither World His poems have
appeared in the New Yorker, Poetry, The Antioch Review, The
American Poetry Review. He is the Edith R. White Distinguished
Professor at the University of Redlands, in California. He is most
famous for his poems Breaking and Entering and Even Because. Next

Charles Bukowski Bukowski was a poet, novelist, and short story
writer. Bukowski was influenced by the social, cultural, and
economic ambience of the LA area. Charles Bukowski has published
over sixty books. One of his most famous poems is A smile to

Laurie Lee 1914-1997 In many of Lees biographies, it says that
he was born and raised in the city of Slad. But his family says
that that move was made when he was about three years old. This
move affected his writing, which can all be seen in his
autobiography entitled Cider with Rosie. His autobiography ended up
being his most famous work. He was also a published author, with
books titled As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning and A Moment of

EE Cummings Edward Estlin Cummings was born on October 14 th,
1894, in Cambridge Massachusetts. Cummings was a professor of
Sociology and Political Science at Harvard University. Fun Fact:
Cummings became an ordained minister of the South Congregational
Church. The five year period following his wifes death is said to
