GWO Advanced Rescue Training is a higher-level course over the basic ‘Working at Heights’ course and is aimed at employees in the wind industry.The course teaches advanced rescue techniques in narrow, enclosed and not immediately accessible areas within a wind turbine. It could be in the nacelle, the blades or in the hub. AMU-Vest is a certified provider of the course, which fully complies to GWO standards.

HUB RESCUE & NACELLE, TOWER & BASEMENT RESCUEModule 1 ensures that participants can performrescues of injured persons inside the wind turbine’s‘hub, spinner and blades’. Module 2 takes placein a ‘nacelle, tower and basement’. Methods andtechniques are at a higher level than those used inthe GWO ‘Working at Heights’ course.

REFRESHER ART GWO MODULES 1 & 2Modules 1 & 2 must be refreshed within 24 months.Here, GWO ‘Working at Heights’ is included in the price.

The course replace any previous courses for bla-de-repair technicians. This course allows the tech-nician to do larger and deeper repair work on the blades, compared with the previous courses.

Aim: The ten day course shall enable you to sup-port and care for yourselves and others working in the wind industry by possessing the knowledge and skills of composite inspection and repair work.

Upon completion of the GWO Blade Repair Training Course you will be able to work safely with composite materials while conducting inspection and basic blade repair procedures thereby supporting an overall improvement of the safety for personnel with job functions focusing on composite repair work and inspection in the wind industry.

AMU-VEST OFFERS COURSES IN ROPE ACCESS EDUCATION AIMED TO ENTER OR PROGRESS IN THE INDUSTRY:These courses provide the skills to move on the ropes and use the proper equipment according to IRATA and SPRAT standard. Courses at all three levels of rope access are available, you can read more about the IRATA and Sprat characteristics on page three.On each course the focus is that the individual par-ticipant is given an optimal learning environment for the best possible result.
