Matias Herrero has been appointed CFO at South American Silver Corp., replacing part-time CFO William Filtness, who will continue on with the company as a consultant. The 15th annual Chicks with Sticks ladies’ charity golf tournament raised more than $24,000 for Kids Help Phone. Coast Capital Savings donated $15,000 to Ready to Rent BC to deliver housing education courses for vulnerable youth.
