The brand new INSTINCT is largely based on the shapeconcept of the SUPERSTAR, but has a slightly longer boomfor more power. Besides this, durability was paramount inchoosing the materials, and this can be seen in the highpercentage of TRIAX- and X.Ply 725 material. For the secondyear in a row, this sail provides the perfect combination ofhigh performance and indestructibility. Its power is generatedfrom the CROSS.BATTEN.CONSTRUCTION and from thenew twist oriented FLAIR.TOP. Relaxed, controlled but able to thunder across the water atmaximum velocity; this is still one of the major joys of wind-surfing. For this purpose we created the CROSSFIRE, acamberless racing machine, which gives you smooth battenrotation and easy handling, whatever course you are on.From the start, this 7 batten blaster accelerates continuouslyand shows a thing or two about top speed. The FLIP.ROTATING.SYSTEM, with it’s contact free battenrotation, together with the narrow mast sleeve combine togive a very positive effect on jibing, water starting and easeof rigging. This sail really is the benchmark for the optimumratio of speed to handling! Really new: we added a 6.0 to therange.

Not only great for modern wide body boards, the newR.TYPE also covers a super broad wind spectrum. Thanks toits deep profile and FLAIR.TOP, it develops enormous power,gets planing early and drives through the biggest holes withease. For this reason the R.TYPE should be the absolute firstchoice on days when the wind does not quite cross the pla-ning threshold. To keep weight down to a minimum theR.TYPE has only 6 ultra light battens (except in the 10.5),where four of them are the extra stiff BOX.BATTEN type.When combined with two PRO.CAM II soft cambers and theeffective twist of the 2004 model, you get a 100% stableprofile that takes shape perfectly, even with no wind pressure,unlike other no-cam sails! This has a big impact on thosetimes when you shift from planing to non-planing conditionsas you have the positive action of this stability.
