Infusing fresh life into abstract art with a modern take on composition, the Connectile Collection entices the senses, an intoxicating rhythm of vibrant colours colliding and merging in an almost natural composition. Flowing with dynamic style, artist Kevin Harney creates contemporary and profoundly unique ceramic tiles that exude excitement, harmony and complexity. This collection of exquisite Limited Edition ceramic tiles are to say the least, nexuses of extraordinary allure and visual utopia.
In the multicultural tradition of using art to convey symbolic thought forms, the Connectile Collection includes Mandala creations of radiantly coloured geometric patterns in a kaleidoscopic fashion. The Mandala has always been a potent visual for meditation practice. It has become a metaphor for man's connection with nature, a re-connection with the inner being, our place within nature and the constant pursuit to understand All That Is.
Technological progress has accustomed us to superior colour imagery wherever we gaze. The Connectile Collection employs state of the art printers using pigmented inks. Conforming to archival standards consistent with collectible fine art, the longevity ratings are in excess of 100 years. This process results in the deepest blacks and the widest colour gamut possible with perfect resolution and the illusion of three-dimensionality. Tiles are produced through the European classic technique of creating fine art prints one at a time, combining state of the art technology with traditional craftsmanship.
Each Connectile is framed in a deep, black, floating canvas frame and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed and numbered by Kevin Harney. “Everything is Connected", is a philosophy inherent in Kevin Harney's being, from which the title of this collection is derived.
