Overview Setting up and testing the ConnectAndSell SalesLoft Integration consists of 4 key activities:

• Configure the API connection between ConnectAndSell and SalesLoft • Mirror the Call Dispositions within ConnectAndSell and SalesLoft • Build a Test Call List in ConnectAndSell based on a Salesloft Cadence • Load the Test Call List in ConnectAndSell and Verify Data Flow between

SalesLoft and ConnectAndSell Configure the API Connection between ConnectAndSell and SalesLoft: A single service account will be used for all API communications between ConnectAndSell and SalesLoft (Company Level Authentication). Configure the API Connection: 1. Log into ConnectAndSell 2. Open the Company Settings Page

3. Scroll down to the SalesLoft API Credentials section. 4. Click Verify Credentials

5. In the resulting pop up window you will be prompted to login using the SalesLoft Login information for the account you will be using for the integration.

6. Once the pop-up window automatically closes, log out of ConnectAndSell and log back in.

Mirror the Call Dispositions within ConnectAndSell and SalesLoft The Conversation Call Dispositions that are used in ConnectAndSell and SalesLoft must match. Additionally you must add the ConnectAndSell Agent dispositions to the Salesloft Call dispositions so that we can accurately communicate the outcomes of call attempts that do not result in a conversation. Update ConnectAndSell Dispositions:

1. Open the Company Settings Page 2. Scroll down to the Call Dispositions section 3. Add/Remove/Update the dispositions listed in the Call Dispositions table until

they match exactly the Call Dispositions you have configured on SalesLoft

To Add a new Disposition: 1) Click the Add New Record button 2) Enter the Disposition Text 3) Select the appropriate Disposition Type 4) Select the Lightning, Dialer and Conversation Checkboxes 5) Click Save Changes To Delete a Disposition: 1) Select the Delete button corresponding to the Disposition you want to delete 2) Click Save Changes To Update a Disposition 1) Click the Disposition Text field, Lightning, Dialer or Conversation Checkboxes to modify them. 2) Click Save Changes

Build a Test Call List in ConnectAndSell based on a Salesloft Cadence

1. Log into ConnectAndSell 2. Click the Call Lists link at the top of the page 3. Click the New List button 4. Enter a name for the list 5. Confirm the data source selected is SalesLoft. 6. Click Next 7. Enter the email address you use to login to SalesLoft exactly as it appears in

your SalesLoft Profile (SalesLoft>Settings>Personal Settings>Profile>Update Your Account Info) (*You will only need to complete this step the first time you create a list)

8. In the New Call List window select the “My Cadence” or “Team Cadence” radio button

9. From the dropdown list select the Cadence you want to build your test list from and click Next. (The cadence selected must have open phone call tasks within it in order to pull leads into ConnectAndSell for dialing)

10. Once the List preview is generated and you confirm that contacts are being pulled in as expected click the Submit button.

11. You will see a Success message confirming the list was successfully created, Click the Close button

Load the Test Call List in ConnectAndSell and Verify Data Flow between SalesLoft and ConnectAndSell

1. Select the checkbox next to the list you just created 2. Click Load List

3. Leave the Session Dial settings at the defaults and click Submit to load the Call List

4. From the Dropdown menu under your name in the top right-hand corner select “Open Test Dialog” (This will simulate a conversation without actually calling anyone so you can test the data flow)

5. In the resulting Pop Up Window Enter Call Notes, and select values for the Stage, and Call Disposition from the corresponding dropdown lists

6. Click the View in CRM link to open the prospect record in SalesLoft in a new browser tab.

7. Click the “Hang Up and Next Call” button at the top of the Pop-up window to initiate the write-back of data to SalesLoft.

8. Switch to the SalesLoft account, navigate to the Cadence that we have selected while Creating a List.

9. Select the Cadence, navigate to “Calls” and check the Call log there.

10. After verifying that a Call Log was successfully recorded, ensure that prospect has moved to the next step in the Cadence OR the prospect has been removed from the Cadence.

• Prospects will advance to the next step in the cadence if no conversation takes place

• Prospects will be removed from the cadence if a conversation takes place

11. We can also check the write back on the prospect level, to verify the write back navigate to “People” and click on the prospects name.

12. Click “Calls” to see the Call log and also Click “Notes” to confirm the Notes were written back successfully.

ConnectAndSell – SalesLoft Related Settings:

1. Use Follow Up Call List for SalesLoft (Mandatory Setting – Must be

enabled)

• This setting must be enabled in order to use Follow Up Call Lists with the SalesLoft integration

• When a follow up is scheduled for a prospect (By adding a “Call on or After Date” and a “Follow Up Teleprompter”) the prospect will be removed from current list and will be added to the SalesLoft Follow up List. The prospect will be callable from the follow up list once the “Call on or After Date” comes due

2. Sync to CRM for each Dial/Connect (Mandatory Setting – Must be enabled)

• When this setting is enabled, the Customer Facing Agent dispositions will be written back to Salesloft when we attempt a prospect but do not transfer them for a conversation

• When this setting is enabled the Customer facing Agent Dispositions must be added in the corresponding SalesLoft instance.

• Customer facing Agent Dispositions are as follows:

i. Problem - Number Unreachable

ii. Problem - Fax Tone

iii. Do Not Call - 24 Hour Pause

iv. Problem - Blocked by Gatekeeper

v. Problem - Incomplete Record

vi. Problem - Target Left Organization

vii. Problem - Target Inaccurate

viii. Problem - Target In Different Location

ix. Problem - Wrong Company

x. Voicemail Reached - Direct Number

xi. No Answer

Referral Flow When we create a Referral in SalesLoft the following will take place:

1. The Referral is added to SalesLoft as a new Prospect 2. A follow up call is added to the SalesLoft follow up list for the user to follow up

with the referral prospect
