Please Note: This event contains both an “Advanced” and “Novice” Division (for 1st & 2nd year wrestlers). Tournaments will be held in separate gyms.

Tournament to Start on Time @ 9:00 a.m. Promptly! LIMITED TO FIRST 400 WRESTLERS for this event, please come prepared to wrestle!

“ADVANCED” DIVISION TOURNAMENT

Eligibility: Cut-off date is January 1, 2015. Age of wrestler on that date is the age group he/she must wrestle in. Proof of age will be required at the request of

any head coach. Weigh-Ins: “Advanced” Wrestlers can weigh in Friday night, December 12th 6-8 p.m. or Saturday morning, December 13th from 7-8:30 a.m.

Rules: P.I.A.A. Modifications will govern with the following exceptions:

6 & under, 7 & 8, and 9 & 10 will be 1-1-1 AND 11 & 12 will be 1 ½ - 1 ½ - 1 ½

Two or less wrestlers in any weight class will be moved to the next weight class DOUBLE ELIMINATION OVERTIME 30-30

Awards: Medals will be awarded for 1st – 4th place winners along with L/S shirt Champion and SS shirt for 2-4 places

“NOVICE” DIVISION TOURNAMENT (FIRST AND SECOND YEAR WRESTLERS ONLY)

Eligibility: This tournament is open to 1st and 2nd year wrestlers up thru 12 years of age. (Actual age as of the day of tournament) Weigh-ins: Each school or club will be responsible for weighing each wrestler the evening prior to tournament and marking left arm in black marker

with age and exact weight. (Not a weight class)

Rules: All matches will be run 1-1-1. Awards: All wrestlers will receive a medal after they reach 12 points.

Tournament Explanation: This tournament is designed to accommodate the beginning wrestler by providing match experience. Each wrestler will receive a bout

sheet that will stay with them throughout the tournament. Winning wrestlers will be awarded 5 points while the losing wrestler will be awards 3 points. When a wrestler has accumulated 12 points they will receive an award. We will make every effort to pair each wrestler with an opponent who is as close in age and weight

as possible. WALK- INS is welcome on day of tournament for NOVICE Division ONLY!

Kitchen will be open at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast and all day during tournament
