Principal: Lesley Mills Ph: 02/66661219 Fax: 02/66661357 www.tabulam-p.schools.nsw.edu.au email: [email protected] Date: Week 10, 1st April 2019 Dear parents, carers and community members,
Welcome to week 10 after a successful Clean Up Australia Day and SRC ice cream sundae fund raiser. Today many 3/4/5/6 students headed off on their 3 day excursion to Minginbul Hill, we know they will have a great time thanks to Mrs Wilkinson, Mrs Elwell and Nan Carm for making it happen!
Our Book Giving Assembly last Tuesday saw everyone receive some lovely books in a backpack, to enjoy and support reading at home. Thanks to ‘Books in Homes’ for such a great program.
There will be a Senior’s Morning Tea Assembly next Monday 8th April at 10:30am, all are welcome. Students will present items, receive awards and have their Easter Hat Parade. Morning tea will then be served. Come along and join in the fun!
We now have a parent app called ‘Flexibuzz’ for our school community. You can download the app for your phone. There will be a morning tea information session for people to download and use the app after our Senior’s Assembly next Monday 8th April at 11:30am in the library.
Last Friday Mr Shaun Piccoli was appointed Relieving Principal of Tabulam Public School for term 2. I’m sure everyone will make him feel welcome and Mr Piccoli will have a wonderful time at Tabulam Public School while I am relieving at Casino West Public School. He will be here on Thursday this week to meet about transitioning to the position.
This week we are reminding students to be respectful to others and ‘if you haven’t got anything nice to say…don’t say anything! There have been some issues on the bus to school, could you please inform your children that our values of being safe, responsible and respectful learners also applies to the bus. Students can be suspended from the bus if there are ongoing issues.
Congratulations to the following students who are all on GOLD level:-
Year K/1/2 – Adrianna, Trevor, Hunter, Correen, Alexander, Shannon, Henry, Daniel, Ameriika, Savannah, Dellzahlia, Andelene,
Year 3/4/5/6 – Pepquita, Sophia, Izaiah, Ben, Shantelle, Michael, Derek, Robert, Gracie, Annabelle, Danial, Thomas, Malachi, Shyannah.
Have a great week!
Lesley Mills
