Global Warming Campaign
The rapid increase of infectious disease is just one of the many impacts of global warming. If every household replaced five standard lightbulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs, it would save as much energy as removing 8 million cars from the road. Do your part.
INTRODUCING
DISEASE A CURE FOR
Flooding and extreme weather conditions are just one of the many impacts of global warming. If every person planted just two trees a year, it would completely counter all global warming caused by deforestation and logging. Do your part.
INTRODUCING
FLOODS A CURE FOR
Widespread, large scale forest fires are just one of the many impacts of global warming. If everyone used warm water, rather than hot, while bathing it would completely counter all global warming caused by air travel. Do your part.

LED’s are a tree friendly favorite. An LED light bulb can reduce energy consumption 80%-90%. It will last around 100,000 hours. Replace your incandescent bulbs to LED’s to save around 1/3 of money for electric bills. Visit www.worldwildlife.org to learn more.
Unplugging your electronics such as a TV, DVD player, stereo, video game counsels and other devices can lower your energy bill by around fifty dollars when they are not in use. Visit www.worldwildlife.org to find out more.
Did you know that the incandescent bulbs turns only around 5% to 10% of its consumed energy into light, the rest goes out as heat. Switch to the florescent bulb, not only will it put more money in your pocket, it emits less heat and is earth friendly. Visit www.worldwillife.org to find out more.

Plant a tree and let it do what it does best. Everyday we are putting harmful toxins in the air through cars, factories, and many other things. Trees replace all the bad toxins with clean air to breathe. Trees can also do so much more. Just through the years of growth trees can offer protection for your home by
blocking high winds and other natural causes. It can also keep your home cool in the summer because of all the shade it provides. Sounds too good to be true? Its not.

Each day, Americans dispose of 60
million plastic bottles. Of that amount,
only 14% are recycled—the rest adds
waste to our landfills. Eliminate the
trash, and recycle to help the planet.
It’s our world, preserve it for present
and future generations.
YOUR IMPACT
Line dry your clothes in the spring and summer instead of using the dryer and save 700 lbs. of carbon dioxide and up to $75 per year.

YOUR IMPACT
Many electronics use power even after you push the off button. This phantom load accounts for 75% of the electricity consumed by home electronics and about 8% of total electricity use. That’s enough to power your house for a month. Many of these electronics are easy to disconnect. Pull your charges out of the outlets when they aren’t in use, and attach other energy suckers to a surge protector and turn the strip off.
www.worldwildlife.org
Last year, Americans spent nearly $11 billion on over 8 billion gallons of bottled water, then tossed over 22 billion empty plastic bottles in the trash. In bottle production alone, the more than 70 million bottles of water consumed each day in the U.S. drain 1.5 million barrels of oil over the course of one year. By using a refillable bottle instead, not only will you save money but you’ll conserve our planet’s resources.
