Now all that is left is to plug in #our phones and eer#thing should work out

perfectl#!

ProblemsInitiall# "# partner and I had proble" with installation( to be honest this was

proble" the part that deterred us the "ost! For one we would initiall# installed the

&isco +ni.ed &all 'anager "ultiple ti"es without enough "e"or# so it wasn;t able

to successfull# install! )fter that( we would successfull# install( howeer when werebooted our co"puters( the &+&' would suddenl# fail and we would hae to

reinstall( this was .$ed later rando"l#! Then( we proceeded on to accessing the IP

address of the &isco +ni.ed &all 'anger and "ultiple ti"es we would get an error

screen! This was si"pl# resoled b# waiting a couple of "inutes then we would be

able to access! The last proble" we had was that so"e phones their protocols were

si"pl# broken and the phone wouldn;t work( this was "itigated b# changing phones

until the protocol was actuall# working and then .nall# our phones would work and

we could ring and call!

Conclusion This lab has a "ultitude of places where one could error! One "isstep can lead to a

world of proble" and basicall# result in #our VoIP not working! Oerall what needed

to be done was si"pl# learning how to set up the &isco +ni.ed &all 'anager( this

was the "ain proble" as not knowing was half the battle! The second part was

learning that we needed to utilie NTP in order for it to work and learning how to

con.gure NTP! )ll in all( the "ain that was needed was the instructions for &isco

infor"ation( and "aking sure that it was installed correctl#( otherwise( it would

the -real world(- also "# partner and I alread# learned how to do ringtones because

we "essed up initiall# thinking ringtones was part of the sign o
