Browsers that are supported by BK® LINK You can use BK® LINK with the latest commercially available (and one full version prior) of popular browsers
like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Apple Mobile Safari*.

Hardware must have the latest IOS or Android operating system (or one prior version back). IOS or Android devices that are powered by the latest available operating systems typically have a minimum three year life

BK LINK requires a business Wi-Fi connection as opposed to Guest Facing Wi-Fi which requires additional authentication via a guest portal and has time limitation. Requirements for the Wi-Fi to be used by BK LINK are:
Total Restaurant Bandwidth 3M Download/1.5M Upload
Business Wi-Fi not part of the same network segment as the POS. NOT guest facing Wi-Fi.
The physical Wi-Fi device should be located in the Kitchen Area, as opposed to the dining area as is the case with the Guest Wi-Fi, to ensure optimal coverage.
Secured via WPA2
Optional but recommended:
• Hidden SSID only known to IT personnel
• Traffic whitelist to allow access ONLY to allowed websites
• MDM (Mobile Device Management) which allows the operator to remotely manage the devices accessing the business Wi-Fi Network. i.e. Lock stolen devices, disable users, lockout certain device functions and settings.
• 5Ghz (802.11 A/N) Router to reduce the impact of interference from Microwaves and other cordless devices like cordless phones.

You can click on the edit icon on the top right corner, this will take you into the editing screen where you can edit the time zone and Temperature Scale information if needed. You can leave or save by using the ff icons

To add an item, click on the icon on the upper right corner, make sure to save!
To delete an attribute you must click on the trash can icon.

You can select if the day you are editing is open 24 hours or if that day the restaurant is closed
After that you must select the hours of operation

If you are setting up a day that has the same features as a previously setup day you can click on “Copy Selected Hours” and pick the day you want to copy

Defining menu items
From the standard list that you see first you can delete or add items. To delete a Menu item you must click on the trash can icon. To add an item, click on the icon on the upper right corner

After clicking on the icon you will be taken to the add Menu Items page where you will select all the Menu Items that apply to your restaurant
You will see a search engine where you can search for items by name, handling profile or cookout category
Or you can add/delete directly from a comprehensive list. This list will be updated by BKC

The list also contains non food items that must be selected according to the restaurant

In the Location tab you will see the restaurant assigned to that user, the number next to the Green house is the Team
Member’s home restaurant.
A Team Member can be assigned to more than one restaurant
but one will always be the home restaurant

In the final tab you can see the user’s attributes.
This is linked to where this user will be assigned to work in the restaurant. This information will decide which modules will be available for the user.
If a Team Member will not be working in the kitchen, then you can trash the kitchen modules and they won’t show in that team member's training screen.
Only managers and above will have access to this tab.

Once users are setup you can transfer them to another restaurant by clicking on the “transfer user” icon in the user management main screen.
When clicked you will be asked to enter the user’s username and the new Home Location. The new location must be selected from a drop list where all your
available restaurants will be seen

Once complete, you must click on the save button. When done you will see the following message in the bottom right corner of the
