Program Overview

Fundraising Leadership for Nonprofit CEOs

Are you ready to help your organization reach its fundraising goals?

As a nonprofit leader, you’ve taken on a lot of responsibilities, and fundraising is probably at the top of your list.

Fundraising Leadership is an intensive, weeklong exploration for nonprofit CEOs seeking to be more conversant in their role in fundraising. The Fundraising Leadership program focuses on the critical relationship between the CEO’s leadership capacity and the philanthropic success of an organization, rather than the mechanics of fundraising.

Engage with experienced instructors in the exploration of the essential aspects of fundraising success and how your leadership choices support your goals.

This program offers you:• A better understanding of who you are and how your choices impact your staff,

your board and your donors• A powerful approach to identifying prospective donors, connecting with their

interests, involving and engaging them, and inviting them to give meaningful support

• An opportunity to form lasting professional connections with your peer participants

Join us in beautiful midcoast Maine for this weeklong journey toward high-impact fundraising leadership. For additional program information, please visit umaine.edu/conferences/fundraisingleadership
