Welcome at the 34th Annual Meeting of the International Society of

Chemical Ecology in Budapest, Hungary.

The conference takes place in the Budapest Congress Center, which

is in a joint building with the hotel NOVOTEL Budapest City. The

conference registration and the conference halls can be approached

easily from the direction of the hotel.

Please keep this pamphlet at your hand. You find the main

informations about the conference venue and events inside.

If you have any questions in connection with the programs and the

city, please ask from the organizing staff, who have WHITE name

cards. At the registration desk you will find always someone who

can help you!

Please note that the registration desk will be at different place on

Sunday (12th August) than on the other days of the conference (see

map on the 3rd page)!

We hope you will have a great time in Budapest and you will get

Public transport from A to C (Banquette):

1) tram 61 or 17 to the direction of

„Hűvösvölgy” (61) or „Vörösvári út”

(17). Take off at the „Széll Kálmán tér”

2) change to Metro line 2 in the

direction of „Örs vezér tere”. Take off at

the „Batthyányi square” station.

3) walk for about 450 m south along

the Danube river

Zsigmond körtér” or „Savoya park”.

EXCURSION

on Wednesday (15th of August) afternoon

Guided sightseeing tour in Budapest by bus, including small walk on

the Heroes’ Square and a visit inside the Matthias Church and

Fisherman’s Bastion

Buses depart: at 14:00., from the bus park of the NOVOTEL

City Hotel

Buses arrive: at 18:00., to the bus park of the NOVOTEL

City Hotel

4 buses will take part in the sightseeing tour. Each will approach the same

spectacles, however, depending on the traffic, the path of the buses could be

different!

CONFERENCE BANQUETTE

on Friday (17th of August) evening

Location:

Europa Ship Budapest

1013 Budapest, Budai alsó rkp.

The port is at the Szilágyi Dezső tér

(point C on the main map)

Program:

19:00 – Welcome reception on the ship

20:00 – Dinner starts

21:00 – Ship leaves the port for a 2-hours river course on

the Danube Please note that the ship will leave its port on time!

There will be no possibility to pick up passangers or to stop during

the cruise!

23:00 – Ship docks

24:00 – Closing hour
