Status and Current Challenges - International Commercial Law from a Nordic and Baltic Perspective 3

WelcomeAarhus University and The Secretariat of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) welcome you to the conference: Status and Current Challenges: International Commercial Law from a Nordic and Baltic Perspective.

The Nordic and the Baltic countries have experienced significant changes in their international commercial law frameworks, such as the withdrawal of reservations to the UN Convention on Contract for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). These changes in legislation inevitably create new legal questions and cause familiar legal challenges to resurface.

The conference provides a forum for reconsideration of the current status and challenges of international commercial law. Leading legal experts will present what they believe to be the most challenging and important issues in the interpretation, application, unification, and research of international commercial law.

We hope that you will enjoy and benefit from the conference
