Stéphane Grenier | hic-cism.comStéphane is a former member of the Canadian Military who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after serving for just over 29 years and participating in several Canadian missions overseas. Faced with his own undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) upon return from Rwanda, he took a personal interest in the way the Canadian Forces was dealing with mental health issues. His work helps to reduce mental health stigma in the workplace, and in 2009 he was awarded a national Champion of Mental Health Award by the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health.
Faith Wood | imind.caOne of the leading language and persuasion mavens, Faith is an award-winning novelist as well as a communication and conflict consultant. As a former Peace Officer, Faith has first-hand experience with the power of persuasion. Go Promote Safety (GPS): Your Safety Roadmap Sometimes, we could all use a little guidance. Most of us have used GPS devices to help us get around and point us in the right direction – and that’s the idea behind this year’s conference.
Our conference program is designed to give you more routes to add to “your safety roadmap.” Together, your current efforts and activities and what you’ll learn at the SSM OHS Conference will program your ‘safety GPS’ to help you stay on course and get you where you need to go.
