Large-scale events including conferences, presentations, exhibitions, trade shows, annual dinners and award ceremonies can be easily accommodated in the stadium’s largest suite.

Located at the heart of the Stadium of Light, the Montgomery Suite includes:

Teaming up with the next-door Business Lounge, the Montgomery Suite can easily host around 70 exhibition stands, with adaptable space on the first floor for larger events including 2,000 people in reception style and offering a major space for launches and gatherings.

Paying homage to a Sunderland great - the much-loved Niall Quinn - this bustling and lively lounge, festooned with football memorabilia, provides a fascinating insight into the heritage of one of the country’s most passionate clubs.

A modern and stylish lounge, it boasts a glazed wall which runs the full length of the Strongbow North Stand. The Black Cats Bar can be conveniently screened into sections accommodating up to 1,000 guests and affords a great lunch venue or mingling space for pre-dinner drinks.

As the sun sets, you can impress your guests with the stunning backdrop of the illuminated stadium and hallowed turf and for that added special touch, messages can also be displayed on the stadium’s giant screens.

As a post-match press conference facility, the Media Lounge is where managers have their say and is complete with its own theatre-style layout for 50 guests.

Located close to the dressing rooms and tunnel, the lounge is equipped with its own bar and can accommodate up to 35 guests in theatre style or 60 guests as a reception suite, with refreshments available in the same room.

The stand out highlight of the Stadium of Light is its versatility. There are a host of additional services that our venue can offer over more conventional conference centres including pitchside and concourse access for delegates and personalised scoreboard messages.

Our well-appointed concourses span the entire area beneath the seating decks, which themselves can house 49,000 people, while 35,000m2 of multi-purpose space spans the arena, providing an ideal way to break up a formal training/away day or offer additional exhibition/demonstration space.

All this and more adds up to one fantastic venue and all this space is available when used with one of our suites.

For larger conferences on selected dates you can even take your indoor conference outdoors with pitchside staging and stadium seating guaranteed to keep your delegates attention. The stadium also hosts major music concerts and outside events throughout the year which offer a perfect backdrop to entertain your top clients in one of the Executive Suites with VIP seating.

The Stadium of Light can also include a tour of the venue, delving into the club’s history and giving you and your guests a behind the scenes insight into what it takes to be a top flight football club.

The stadium also has 1,100 free car parking spaces available.

Much of our products are sourced from within a 50 mile radius, not only ensuring we retain that ‘freshly-picked’ taste but also a continued commitment to the environment by reducing our carbon footprint.

The Stadium of Light has assured its food standards are of the highest quality, with all fresh meat products at the stadium Red Tractor certified. The Red Tractor logo is a mark of quality assurance that shows that food or drink products have been independently inspected throughout the food chain and meet responsible standards of production as well as being traceable back to UK farms.

Located within the Pier Point development on Marine Walk, The Beach House

is a fun, family-friendly venue, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful

Roker beach.

The stunning venue combines all the best elements of seaside eating - from

simple teas and coffees to a modern bistro-style lunch menu, showcasing

fantastic locally-sourced produce and seafood, through to signature burger

Travelling from either North or South, Sunderland is serviced by two major routes - A1 & A19. From the A1 (M), Northbound or Southbound, exit at junction 62 and take the A690 (signposted Sunderland). CAR PARKING

We have over 1,100 free car parking spaces on the stadium site. Most are located directly in front of the main West Stand, enabling safe, convenient access. There is also adequate space for coach parking and production/delivery vehicles. Staff are available to assist clients in moving equipment to and from vehicles. METRO

Sunderland is serviced by the Tyne and Wear Metro (light railway) system, connecting the city to Newcastle, East Coast mainline & Newcastle International Airport. Trains run approximately every 10 minutes with the Stadium of Light and St Peter’s (the closer of the two) just a few minutes walk.
