CSS
A elastic and stress-absorbing compound calledElasturan is cast into the entire length and

First installed in 1999, at the Sleipner platform. No maintenance has beenrequired on this CSS installation.
Easy & safe installation. Equipment for installation can be used in classified
areas. Dynamic loads are reduced,
Stress loads are distributed over a wider area, thus point stress loads areeliminated.
Installation is performed with use of rope access technique, no need forscaffold.
Subsea application available. Performed 100 % with ROV. No divers.
