GREEN SUPERS… ON-SITE! TRAINING and COACHING
The 32BJ Training Fund now offers GREEN SUPERS… ON-SITE! training for 32BJ building operators and staff. This program provides training customized to your building systems and efficiency opportunities. The training is held on-site and features coaching and involves management in planning the training and reviewing the results.
GREEN SUPERS… ON-SITE! Features the following steps:
• Pre-Training Assessment: 32BJ Training staff complete a walk-through of the building and an evaluation of any available data to evaluate building performance in order to identify opportunities to customize training to specific systems as well as address any potential skill gaps.
• Management Orientation: 32BJ Training staff review findings with management to reach agreement on the opportunities to be addressed through training and the best practices that will be integrated into regular operations and maintenance procedures.
• Conduct Training: 32BJ Training instructors train building staff during work hours at the 32BJ Training Fund office or on-site at the employer’s building.
• Professional Development: During the training, instructors conduct an orientation with union members on educational opportunities through the 32BJ Training Fund. Students will then receive feedback and the opportunity for one-on-one coaching to develop an action plan so they can pursue further training.
• On-site Coaching: 32BJ Training coaches provide 2 coaching sessions with the building operator to reinforce the lessons of the training, help them apply best practices and answer questions or concerns the operator may have.
• Post-Training Management Review: 32BJ Training staff hold a final meeting with management to review the findings from the training and on-site coaching sessions to develop a final list of operating efficiencies enhancements and best practices recommended for building staff.
• Post-Training Assessment: 32BJ Training staff provide a final summary of adopted best practices and initial assessment of impact on building performance.
