Concrete  Debate  Fact  Box:

•  The  Union  has  been  calling  for  anonymous  marking  for  the  last  eight  years.

•    71%  of  UEA  stu-­dents  are  in  favour  of  anonymous  marking.

•  Cambridge,  York  and  Bath  already  have  systems  of  anony-­mous  marking

•  The  University  Sen-­ate  (its  highest  deci-­sion  making  body)  passed  a  resolution  calling  for  equality  through  anonymous  marking.

•  The  University’s  offi-­cial  position  on  anony-­mous  marking  is  that  it  will  be  introduced  for  all  coursework  in  September  2008.
