The concrete

The concrete products in Lbatlan are manufactured from naturalmaterials like gravel from the dredging of the Danube riverbed, cementcreated from the Triassic limestone of the Gerecse hill, and waterfrom theDanube.

The spun column technology

The Lbatlani Vasbetonipari Zrt. (Lbatlani Reinforced Concrete Industrial

Private Limited Company), which has been manufacturing concreteproducts since 1942, has begun to manufacture spun concrete columns asfirst in the country, which due to the revolutionary technology aresignificantly more enduring and more aestheticproducts. Our columnsset up in 1994 have been enduring the elements of nature ever since.During product design and manufacturing, the MSZ EN 13369 and MSZEN 40-3-1-2000 standards are applied.

The advantage of concrete columns is the high degree of density, theaesthetic, closed concrete surface and the consequent lower corrosionsensitivity, longer service life, low maintenancerequirement.

By applying spinning technology, 30% higher strength concrete can bemanufactured from the same concrete mix, compared to traditionalcompaction processes. The truly smooth cast surface and centrifugal forcecloses the surface of the concrete column, which increases its aesthetic

value and durability. The dense concrete structure improves theprotection of the reinforcing steels and tension cables, which in turn alsoincreases the structures lifetime and durability.

The flexible manufacturing technology and the large size availabilitybetween 3-30 m allow a wide range of application of concrete columns.Our spun concrete columns can be used for public lighting or sports fieldlighting (with floodlights, spotlights), applied as power poles, overhead line

supports, advertisement columns, architectural columns, custom-designedmarble columns.

Black columns (RK type)

The black concrete columns suggest the elegance of steel or cast ironcandelabra, and aesthetically fit to brick, wood, freestone or other naturalsurfaces. They are excellent for parks, groves, walkways. The concretecolumns do not require regular maintenanceor surface treatment. Theyharmonically blend with both historical city moods and modern architecturalstyles, and they also complement modern facade colors well.

By adding different color materials to the concrete during the

manufacturing process, it is possible to produce not only black columns,but also brown, red, green, yellow, blue and other custom coloredcolumns. It is also possible to cast the city crest into the base of thecolumn, which because it is a concrete imprint cannot be scratched offor broken down, and it cannot be removed.

It can be ordered with special-looking finish: material colored, surfacepainted, made with quality agent, bush-hammered or polished design,

surface textured, or sandblasted.

These concrete columns surpass steel columns in durability, timelessnessand vandalism resistance.

Columns with lamp arms (RS type)

Its structural design is the same as for the RK columns, but the head

structure is different. Its light spot height can be selected from 3 to 18meters.

A hexagon pipe fitting is located at the end of the column, on which steelor reinforced concrete lamp arm can be fitted. The reinforced steel lamparms are specifically manufactured for this column type.

For RS and RSL columns, apart from the traditional reinforced concretearms, the 0.5 2.0m long 1-4 armed L, V, T and Y shaped lamp arms arealso recommended.

Architectural columns

Architectural concrete columns can be built in as high strength structural

building elements, either for industrial halls, shopping centers, water parksor also as external pergola supports.

With special surface finish, bush-hammered or sand blown, it can alsofunction as an exclusive interior decorative element, which is an unusualcharacteristic for concretes, although interior area application of concretesurfaces is becoming more and more common nowadays.

Naturally, these concrete columns can also be manufactured from coloredconcrete, which opens up further possible applications for these concretecolumns.
