GO CONCORDIA SOCCER!

LADY CONCORDIA SOCCER PLACES IN HANOI TOURNAMENT

We caught up with the Concordia soccer coaches to see how their teams have been doing this past winter. “Our team had a really great season this year,” smiles Coach Patrick Frerking. “The boys seemed to just really click at the Hanoi Tournament and the girls placed second overall, only losing one game by a single goal. I was very proud of the players.”

The Concordia Soccer teams will wind down their season with two sets of games on February 13 against HIS and February 18 against UNIS. Make sure to come out and support your Concordia players. Good luck team and GO CONCORDIA!

HS MODEL UNITED NATIONS IN SHANGHAI

Students from the three Concordia sister schools- Concordia Shanghai, Concordia Hanoi and Hong Kong International School came together for a lead-ership weekend filled with team building games, social work with Crossroads Inter-national, activities on learn-ing to reduce their carbon footprint, and an overall good time in Hong Kong.

Five Concordia High School students represented the Dominican Republic this year in the annual Model United Nations Conference in Shanghai. Students became well versed in political, economic, and social issues of each of their representative countries and served as a delegation of ambassadors to negotiate those country’s interests on the “United Nations” stage, made up of students from around the globe.
