In 10,000 BC CGI is used practically throughout the whole of the movie. The reason for this is because of the fact that within the movie there are animals and also natural things that were present back in that time period that are not present in the time period that we are in now. Because of this they had to use CGI. The effect that this had on the audience is that it enabled them to feel and understand what it must have been like to live in that time period.

The movie I Robot just like 10,000 BC contains a lot of CGI. Unlike 10,000 BC the movie set in the future. The affect that the CGI usage in this movie has on others is that it opens the mind to the possibility of what Robots if they took over the world would be like.
