ABOUTThe museum opened in 1964 as the Museum of History and Technology. It was one of the last structures designed by the renowned architectural firm McKim Mead & White. In 1980, the museum was renamed The National Museum of American History to represent its mission of the collection, care, study, and interpretation of objects that reflect the experience of the American people.

What’s insideInside the Smithsonian holds the history of people and life forms. The exhibits range from the days of the dinosaur to early human and present day. As you explore the ins and outs of the museum u can see the wonders of how the world has evolved to what it is now.

Reflection

This museum shows a lot of interesting facts about how time has changed. It interested me because I'm very good at history and some of the things I looked up about this place got me more excited to find out what is all in the exhibits. The way the place is set up divides early animals from ice ages, and how we as humans have changed over time. Lastly I think I would want to visit this place after graduation because being older it would give me a better prospective on changes that have been made on earth and with man kind.
