BASF gear lubricants are designed for extended drain service, improved wear protection com pared to typical petroleum gear oils. Our lubricants are formulated using base stocks with a high viscosity index and an exceptionally low pour point. This gear oils contain extreme pressure additives, as well as rust, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors to protect gears and bearings operated under a wide variety of load conditions. This results in longer gear life by providing high film strength and superior low temperature performance.

deposit Control for a Cleaner engineKeropur® gasoline performance packages protect engines by preventing the formation of deposits (keep clean effect). They are also able to remove existing deposits (clean up effect). The cleaner engine system results in better perfor-mance, improved combustion and a longer engine life.
Friction reduction for Fuel economy Improvement Approx. 10 % of the energy released by the combustion of the gasoline is lost due to internal friction in the engine. Keropur® gasoline performance packages can be formulated with very effective friction modifiers minimising friction between the piston rings and the cylinder wall, which results in an instantaneous fuel economy benefits.

Made in Germany since 1929 BASF first patented Glysantin® in 1929, and the brand has been very popular with motorists ever since. This engine coolant has the most OEM approvals from the large motor manu fac turers. BASF works in cooperation with leading automobile suppliers to ensure that Glysantin® products always fulfill the latest demands.
Protection against CorrosionGlysantin® forms a very thin, but extremely resistant protective layer in the cooling system.
