AGREEMENT made this 24th day of February, 2011, between ADELPHIUNIVERSITY, One South Avenue, Garden City, New York 11530 and SUFFOLKCOUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE, 533 College Road, Selden, New York 11784pursuant to which the parties agree to cooperate in providing a COMPREHENSIVEADMISSION, TRANSFER CREDIT AND SCHOLARSHIP AGREEMENT.

I. Purpose

This agreement between Adelphi University (AU) and Suffolk CountyCommunity College (SCCC) stipulates the benefits to students who transfer fromSuffolk County Community College to Adelphi University with an Associate ofArts Degree (A.A.) or Associate of Science Degree (A.S.). It also addresses theresponsibilities of each institution to communicate these benefits to all relevantconstituents for the purpose of facilitating an informed transfer process for allinvolved. The benefits to students noted herein reflect the commitment thatAdelphi University has to furthering its partnership with Suffolk CountyCommunity College, and its respect for how well prepared Suffolk CountyCommunity College students are to continue their education at Adelphi.

II. Admission

Suffolk County Community College graduates (*) will be admitted to AdelphiUniversity with the cumulative GPA of2.3 received upon graduation fromSuffolk County Community College, with the following exceptions or additionalrequirements:College of Arts & Sciences• Performing Arts: Successful audition or portfolio review• Fine Arts: Successful portfolio reviewSchool of Nursing• Non-RN Transfers: minimum cumulative GPA of3.0 and successful passing

of the required Nurisng entrance exam; science pre-requisite grades of a C+ orbetter

• RN's: minimum cumulative GPA of2.8School of Education• Minimum cumulative GPA of2.75 (Speech and STEP applicants only)School of Social Work• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8

* Students with educational experiences at institutions in addition to SuffolkCounty Community College will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

To facilitate the process of admissions, Adelphi agrees to provide a designatedtransfer admissions counselor for graduates of Suffolk County Community

College. Adelphi University will coordinate with Suffolk County CommunityCollege to schedule at least two on-the-spot admissions events per year, wherestudents will be advised at Suffolk County Community College about AdelphiUniversity's programs, admissions process and scholarships. The application feefor Adelphi University will be waived for Suffolk County Community Collegestudents who apply at one of these events.

III. Transfer of Credits

Suffolk County Community College AS. and AA. graduates are eligible toreceive up to a maximum of 64 transfer credits; only graded courses completedwith a grade of "C-" or higher will be accepted in transfer. **Students with educational experiences at institutions in addition to SuffolkCounty Community College will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

To prepare SCCC students to meet with departmental advisors who willdetermine which courses they will need to fulfill their bachelor's requirements,students may meet with counselors in the admissions office to identify whichrequirements have been completed. Students may also engage the online TransferEvaluation System (TES) http://adrnissions.adelphi.edultransfer/transfer-credits.php to access course equivalencies and determine how they will transfer toAU.

Students who complete the A.A or AS. degree at Suffolk County CommunityCollege are exempt from taking Adelphi University's General EducationDistribution Requirement.

IV. Scholarships

Suffolk County Community College AA and AS. graduates who are eligible foran academic or a performing/fine arts talent award, and who will enroll full time(12 or more credits) at Adelphi University will receive an automatic increase of$1,000 to their scholarship or talent award, effective with admission to the fall2011 term. • Adelphi University Provost Scholarship• Adelphi University Full-Time Transfer Merit Award• Adelphi University Provost Talent Scholarship• Adelphi University Academic Talent Combination Award• Adelphi University Talent Award

Students who are designated as Phi Theta Kappa will receive an additional $500scholarship for full-time study.

Adelphi will set aside two competitive $12,000 scholarships annually forqualified Suffolk County Community College graduates who will register as full-time students at Adelphi University.

Suffolk County Community College students who transfer into AdelphiUniversity's five-year teaching program, the Scholar Teachers Education Program(STEP) with a academic scholarship award, and who maintain the scholarship'sterms and conditions, and who continue as full-time students for the graduate yearof STEP, will receive their undergraduate academic scholarship for up to amaximum of one half of the full-time tuition for the graduate year of STEP.

SCCC students who are accepted and enroll full-time directly into AdelphiUniversity's MBA program immediately following graduation from Adelphi'sundergraduate business program, who have received an undergraduate scholarshipand maintained the scholarship's terms and conditions, may continue to receivetheir undergraduate academic scholarship for up to a maximum of one half of thefull-time tuition for the graduate year of Business.

V. Registration

Suffolk County Community College students who have been admitted to AdelphiUniversity and have paid their tuition deposit will be permitted to register duringearly registration at the same time as their Adelphi University counterparts.

VI. Communication

Adelphi University and Suffolk County Community College agree to cooperate incommunicating with each other and with their respective constituents about therelationship between the two institutions. Faculty and staff at both institutions willshare the information provided in this agreement with interested and qualifiedstudents. Adelphi University and Suffolk County Community College agree toprovide counseling and advisement to students and prospective students about thispartnership and the inherent benefits.

Suffolk County Community College will promote Adelphi University in anypublications and/or websites that discuss transfer options and agreements, andSuffolk County Community College's website(s) will have a link to AdelphiUniversity. Suffolk County Community College will also distribute and makeavailable any appropriate Adelphi University printed materials.

An administrator from Adelphi University will implement this agreement atAdelphi University and communicate changes to those parties to whom theinformation is pertinent. The same will be true at Suffolk County CommunityCollege.

VII. Terms of Agreement

This agreement becomes effective on the date of signature by representatives ofthe institutions reflected below, and may be renewed annually, by mutual consentand agreement. It may be modified or terminated at any time by either institutionwith written notification and by mutual consent. In the event it is decided at anytime to modify or terminate this agreement, commitments made to individualstudents already in the program will continue in effect for the terms applicable atthe time the student enrolled in the program.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have duly executed this Agreement as of thedate written below.
