Dura Composites supplied over 800m2 ofDura Deck Type 295 which was chosenbecause of its’ ease of installation. The Type295 double width planks can halve installationtime and have specially designed sub-surfacefixings which make it barefoot friendly,uniform and safe for all shoe types.

Dura Deck is produced from WoodPlastic Composite (WPC) which ismanufactured by an extrusionprocess using a mix of recycledplastics and hardwood with variousbespoke additives.

WPC is an immensely versatilematerial which combines thetraditional appearance of timber with

the durability and resilience of anengineered composite.

Dura Deck is the ideal solution forpublic areas such as Parks, OutsideRefreshment Bars, Walkways,Veranda's, Promenades, Balconies,Bridges, Conservatories, Patios andPool Decking.

Dura Deck doesn’t need any staining orpainting. In fact, after installation, the deckneeds only basic cleaning and doesn’tsuffer from warping or rotting. Dura Deckis UV Certified to ISO 4892-2 and so willsurvive even the harshest of climates.

General InformationDura Deck composite decking boards areproduced with a hollow core centre whichcreates exceptional strength and lightness.Every board has a recess moulded into eachedge which accepts a heavy duty hold downclip, creating a Below Surface secure fixing,using 8g and 10g stainless steel colour codedscrews. The result is a fully professional screwand nail free appearance with full bare footsafety.

Manufactured from polyethylene based resins,reclaimed hardwood, and finished with anattractive hardwearing anti-slip finish. Dura Deckeliminates rot, algae growth and significantlyreduces the risk of slipping in wet conditions.

Dura Deck and Dura Tile are manufactured fromrecycled and sustainable materials, yet gives theappearance of traditional hardwood timber. Dueto its advanced material composition and uniquedesign it is able to span up to 700mm, meetingmost of today’s requirements set by architects,designers and specifiers.

Below Surface FixingDue to the excellent below surface fixing system, noscrews or nails need to be used through the deckingsurface. The result is a decking without screw or nailheads working loose on the walking surface. Thereforedangers of injury when walking barefoot are eliminated.The Below Surface fixings also automatically space thecorrect gap between each board for that uniformappearance.
