We Come Into Christ’s Presence
Call to Worship..........................................................................................Randy Daniel(congregation standing)
Pastor: Come, let us worship our Creator and Redeemer.People: We come as Christ has called us. We know that we have all sinned and are not worthy of a place at Christ’s table. We know that Christ died for our sins that we might be called the people of God.Pastor: Hear the good news of the gospel, that our sins are forgiven, covered by the blood of Christ's righteousness.People: Let us lift up the name of Jesus. Let us bow down and pray before Him. Let our lives be filled with the Holy Spirit.Pastor: Come, let us worship in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

It is our custom to serve everyone prior to being invitedto eat the bread and then the wine at the same time together, symbolizing that we are one body in Christ.

The Lord’s Supper — Seventh-day Adventists practice open communion, believing that it is available toanyone of any faith who professes belief in Jesus Christ and a desire to be His follower. The decision ofwhat age a child may start receiving communion is left to the discretion of the parent.
I Cantori, the choir from Southern Adventist University, is under the direction of Gennevieve Brown-Kibble,presents today’s service music.
was written by J. S. Bach when he was 21 years old and had just recently returned toArnstadt from his visit to Lubeck for study with Buxtehude. Bach originally titled the Prelude, ,and there are references to the Fugue being based upon a tune composed in 1609 by Thomas Ravenscroftcommonly known today as "Three Blind Mice." Musicologists debate if this could have been Bach's reactionto the church fathers who were upset by his extended stay in Lubeck.
