Managed Field Content templates allows users to:

• Store frequently used text against specific Compass fields

• Easily pull templated text into different advice documents produced from Compass

• Areas where MFC can be helpful:

o CDF – Goals and objectives description

o SoA – Strategy and product recommendation wording

o Review – Portfolio commentary

o FDS – Services entitled/received text

1. Download and install the Outlook Plugin from Compass

2. Validate your Compass credentials via Outlook > Outlook Plugin

1. Right-click any email in your inbox

2. Select File to Xplan

3. Find your Client in Compass

4. File the email to the Client’s Notes

1. Register to receive new datafeeds

2. Advise Compass Support to establish connection

3. Check that data has come through (usually takes up to 48 hours after step 2.)

4. Check for any unmapped client accounts
