Architecture & Civil works - Take time to build double airlocks, changing rooms, bath rooms in machine room.
- Not take time to build double airlocks, changing rooms, bath rooms in machine room.
HVAC system - For process cleanroom area - Take shorter time for: * Only do minor air pressure adjustment for double airlocks,
* No need to install new return fans,
* Testing & commissioning for the whole HVAC system and cleanroom area: take less time because air balance, T&C for the system have successfully been done beforehand. It is just necessary to a just a little bit for double airlock and cleanroom. * Re-validation (DQ, IQ, OQ) time for the whole system and cleanroom: shorter time due to not much renovation to the existing system.- For over ceiling machine room with negative pressure: take not different time from positive pressure.
- For process cleanroom area - Take longer time for: * Re-calculation/ design of the whole HVAC system to create negative pressure for all process room area, * Installing new return fans with higher capacity, * Testing & commissioning for the whole HVAC system of cleanroom area: take more time because we have to do all air balance, testing, commissioning for the whole system with negative pressure.
* Re-validation (DQ, IQ, OQ) for the whole HVAC and cleanroom: longer time due to so much renovation to the existing system.- For over ceiling machine room with positive pressure: take not different time from negative pressure.

3 Cleanliness ensuring - Ensure clean class 100.000 - Ensure clean class 100.000- However dust from the over ceiling may go down under higher pressure of machine room if the gap/ airtightness between the ceiling panels and walls are not treated properly in the past. This may affect the product quality.
4 Ability of containment & control of
hazardous materialsIn normal operation conditions Nearly the same:
- Advantages: * Airflow direction is controlled in machine room. Dust in the space above the ceiling is controlled and treated through dust collecting equipment, the ability of diffusing dirty air going down to clean room is impossible.Disadvantage:

Nearly the same:- Advantages: * Hazardous materials emission is prevented right at the production rooms.
Disadvantage:- Since machine room pressure is higher
than process room so dust may tend to penetrate the cleanroom area via the gaps between clean panels and walls which might be not properly sealed all the time.
- Also, in case that hazardous material leaks to machine room through HVAC system, it may emit outside under machine high pressure if the machine room structure is not properly sealed/ closed.
In (power) failures/ maintenance conditions
Advantage: same- When there is a power failures, the
ability of spreading the contaminated air to outside is minimized. (contaminated air is isolated in process & machine room)
Disadvantage:- None

AHU’s filters, center dust collectors... => The risk of hazardous materials dispersing into machine rooms is possible, because there is no control system, it is probable that hazardous materials would spread to Non-Beta areas, then to the outside environment
(in case that collector – scrubber system can not cover every area inside machine room)
5 Feasibility - Higher due to:
* Less impact on the existing HVAC system where testing and commissioning had been successfully done, validated, and approved by DAV. * Possible to catch up the urgent production schedule requested by Madam Nga
- Lower due to more impact on the existing HVAC system: * Re-calculation the whole system is needed.
* Take more time.
