    ITK Engineering Company is focused on providing design of all building service systems.

    Our staff is experienced in supplying technical design for various types of buildings,including apartment houses, office buildings, trade centers, public buildings, educational institutions, as well as complex industrial buildings requiring unique knowledge and experience.

    Besides Estonia, we have designed for Finnish, Norwegian, Russian, Swedish, French, Italian and African markets.

    We are always using the best design practice, the latest software solutions and BIM technology.

  • BIM

    Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle.

    Using the BIM model in design stage will give a remarkableadvantage during construction through the whole building cycle

    We guarantee greater accuracy and correctness using BIM modeling compared with traditional design methods

    To execute our everyday design work we are using the latestversions of the following BIM-capable software:

    Reconstruction of street lighting in the cities of Võru and Valga

    - Project of external installations- 100 km of city streets- Project included the renovation of „tired“ street lighting of 2

    Estonian cities. Both systems including in total 3500 lighting points were modernised, using new LED lights and a control system.

    Railway platforms of the Estonian Railways- Project of high-current installations- App. 35 stations- Renovation of lighting and electrical supply for railway

    platforms at 35 train stops and stations of Estonian Railways (together with 2 tunnels).

    Toholampi Power Plant- Low voltage and extra low voltage systems installation, process

    automation

    POGI Combined Heating Plant- Low voltage and extra low voltage systems installation, process

    automation- Installed power: 2MW- The CHP plant supplies heat to Paide city and the sustainably

    produced electricity is then directed to the Elektrilevi grid. Thenew plant uses local biomass fuels.

    Näki Solar Power Plant- Sketch design- Installed power: 70MW- During the sketch design, we modelled the Sun’s year-round

    behaviour in a given geographical point, calculated the effectof shadows to productivity at different times of year and chosethe most optimaal and productive placement for the solarpanels.

    Ash disposal system of the new 300MW oil shale Eesti Power Plant

    - Medium voltage, low voltage and extra low voltage systems installation, automation

    - Installed power: 2MW- During the engineering process four 10kV dredging pump power

    supply and control system was designed. Pneumatic tube transport system of dry ash and the disposal system of wet ash. Complete automation system for control and monitoring, which will be connected to a new 300MW power plant SCADA system.

    Sillamäe Oil Refinery Plant- Low voltage and extra low voltage systems installation, process

    automation- Territory area: 22,5ha- Installed capacity: 20MW- Produced power: 37MW- Key items:

    Ülemiste Center extension- Fields: low voltage installation (video surveillance and access control

    system, fire system, communications network, Voice evacuation system EN54, time transmission system

    - Gross surface 26 000 m2- After completion, Ülemiste Center has become the largest and most diverse

    fashion and family center in Estonia. During engineering, we had to account the existing systems and find solutions for systems to cooperate. The extension was planned to have four fire centres and the video system 10 video recorders. It was also intended to have 10 amplifiers with backup amplifiers for EN 54 Voice evacuation system.

    Joint ministerial building- Fields: ventilation, heating, water supply, sewerage, electrical installations,

    automation- Gross surface 25 000 m2- The joint building of four ministeries is designed to be modern, energy

    efficient and with an optimized usage of surface.

    Reconstruction of the Estonian Public Broadcasting- Project of electrical power distribution, weak-current installations

    and automation- Gross area: 3,500 m2- The existing outdated building was totally renovated and modern

    technological solutions for radio transmission were installed.

    SEB Bank- Fields: ventilation, cooling, heating, water supply, sewerage,

    electrical installations- Reconstruction of ca 4 500 m2 building area- The reconstruction of the building is completed with modern

    technological systems in compliance with the existing systems. For saving energy, lighting was taken to a contemporary level, where the light intensity on tables.

    Modernization of the learning environment and exhibition at the Natural History Museum of Tartu University

    - Project of electrical power distribution, weak-current installations and automation

    - Gross area: 1,480 m2- Natural History Museum at the premises of Tartu University was renovated

    and modernised.- Its lighting solution and illumination of exhibition displays was based on the

    “smart house” approach.

    Seaplane Harbour- Project of external installations, high-current and low-current installations- Gross area: 7,000 m2- The compex was initially a part of the Naval Fortress of Peter the Great and

    it was designed by Danish architects. In 2011, it was reconstructed as a Maritime Museum. The museum includes several “self-designed” equipment, which are all controlled by KNX. It integrates a dynamicallycontrolled lighting and sound solution and includes various mobile equipment and gates.

    Resort Hotel & SPA Estonia- Project of high-current installations, automation of utilities and weak-

    current installations- Gross area: 10,500 m2- Project of Estonian SPA encompassed the renovation of two buildings - the

    White Building and the Green Building. In case of the White Building, the solution covered practically the whole building and a conference, spa and recreation complex of app.

    - 4,733 m2 was established. In case of the Green Building, the hotel suits and restaurant received a new and modern look together with a new electrical and lighting solution.

    Creative House of Tallinn University- Project of electrical power distribution, weak-current installations and

    automation- Gross area: 4,000 m2- In the new Creative House of Tallinn University, the solution for auditoria,

    classrooms and public areas of the Film and Media School was based on the integral “smart house” system together with lighting and climate control.

    Estonian Health Museum- Project of electrical power distribution, weak-current

    installations and automation- Gross area: 2,000 m2- In the Estonian Health Museum that is situated in Tallinn’s Old

    Town a lighting solution of interactive exhibition displays and seminar rooms was created based on the “smart house” principle, so that visitors can get an in-depth Picture of how their organs work simply by visiting and interacting with various displays.

    Commercial and residential building, Kentmanni 6- Project of high-current and low-current installations and

    automation- Gross area: 17,552 m2- The architecture and technology of systems, which integrates

    various systems into a whole by using modern solutions, creates for people who use it a new attitude towards every-day living environment.

    Apartment buildings at Kosemetsa- Project of high-current and low-current installations, automation

    and layout- Gross area: 3,030 m2- It’s a unique project where the apartment building was equipped

    with an integral “smart house” system together with an integratedlighting and climate control and remote energy meter reading already during the design phase.

    Residential building, Pikk 36- Project of high-current and low-current installations and

    automation- Gross area: 4,000 m2- An old railway building situated in Tallinn’s Old Town was

    renovated into a modern apartment building

    City Residence- Fields: ventilation, heating, water system, sewerage, electrical

    systems, automation- Gross area: 10 940 m2- A modern residence in the centre of Tallinn, which presents

    everything a contemporary person looks for in a new home: modern and functional appartments, new design and „smarthome“ solutions. The spectacular view on the city can be enjoyedfrom the unique warm winter-garden balconies. Fully BIM-designed.
