SMC has worked with AirSys ATM, UK on the detailed design and planning of the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on all MEP disciplines. Currently our team is using the acquired expertise on the upcoming Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad where we have collaborated with CPG Singapore to design the majority of the MEP systems for the project.

BENAZIR BHUTTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ISLAMABAD

Construction of a new Airport (Benazir Bhutto International Airport) in the capital of the country was a long outstanding demand and requirement of the people. A site for new airport was selected after detailed study of various avenues available. Construction of this airport is from grass root level therefore all major components of an airport facility shall have to be developed. Benazir Bhutto International Airport will be a modern airport with modular facilities for both domestic and international passengers and cargo movements to cater for all present and projected demands for the next 30 years. The site is located at Pind Ranjha near Fateh Jang, about 20km from zero point Islamabad and 30Km from the existing airport at Chaklala. Approximately 3,200 acres of land has been acquired by CAA, for this Project.

This Modern 760,000 sft. Passenger Terminal Is Being Built According To A Two‐Level Linear Concept.

The Facility Is Designed To Cater to the Needs of More Than 6.5 Million Passengers Annually.

SMC has had a great deal of experience with a wide spectrum of Medical fit-outs in the country but most of all with the Aga Khan University and College in Karachi where we have been deeply involved in the expansion and planning of their campus besides working on their state of the art Operation theatres and Laboratories. SMC have designed District Cooling Plants and Hydraulic decoupling facilities to enable this Mega Hospital complex of excellence to morph into a flexible campus where change or addition to their HVAC facilities has become possible and very easy.
