MOF HALF RACK, SPLICE/PATCH – 288 FIBRES – P/N: PX-D01XX2 - (Telstra approved)

MOF RACK FRAME, SPLICE/PATCH – 576 FIBRES – P/N: PX-D01XX3

Use/Application

The MOF Half Rack (288 fibre capacity) & MOF Rack Frame (576 fibre capacity), built in a

standard 600mm x 600mm x 2.2 metres high Rack, provide a means of cross connecting

terminated optical fibres in the Vertical and Horizontal planes, prior to connection to

transmission equipment. This feature provides maximum flexibility in terminating optical fibres.

The splicing to patching ratio of 1:1 allows for the complete patching of every spliced optical

fibre. Thus, this MOF Frame has the ability to patch from vertical to horizontal cabling, allowing

full flexibility to the Carrier. It allows the patching of services with full flexibility, for easy storage

of access fibre and the ability to house passive devices in order to fulfill other network functions.

The MOF frame is fully modular, which is expandable as the optical network grows. The MOF

Half Rack occupies one side of a 600mm x 600mm x 2.2 metres Rack whilst the MOF Rack Frame

occupies both sides of the Rack. One four drawer splicing unit is fitted at the top of the Rack.

Each drawer holds a six tray high splicing unit; with each tray including 12 fusion spliced optical

fibres. This provides a 288 fusion splice capacity for the MOF Half Rack and a 576 fusion splice

capacity for the MOF Rack Frame. Located in the lower portion of the Rack are 12 RHS pivoting

swing out patching trays, each of 48 A-S/C patching capacity. The patching trays are provided in

groups of six, with the highest set being a “Vertical Patching Field” and the lower set being the

“Horizontal Patching Field”. Each patching tray maintains the MBR for optical cords at 30mm,

and has storage for excess optical cord length. A separate storage area is available for optical

fibre cords. Tie–off positions are provided throughout the Rack for securing bundles of optical

cords using hook and loop style ties.

Features:

MOF Half Rack (PN: PX-D01XX2) terminates 288 fibres, in a

1:1 splice/patch ratio, between Vertical and Horizontal Fields .

MOF Rack (PN: PX-D01XX3) terminates 576 fibres in a 1:1 splice/patch ratio, between

Vertical and Horizontal Fields.

Rack used is 600mm x 600mm x 2.2 metres high.

Fibre-banding radii is maintained at drawer entry & exit.

One 4 Drawer unit is provided on each side of the rack, each rack side available separately.

A higher “Vertical Patching Field” of 6 patching/storage trays of 48 station capacity

provided on each side of a rack, for A- S/C through connects. A-S/C through connectors are

available separately.

A lower “Horizontal Patching Field” of 6 patching/storage trays of 48 station capacity

provided on each side of a rack, for A- S/C through connects. A-S/C through

connectors are available separately.

Heat shrink splice protectors, 40mm long x Pack of 100 available separately.

Hook and loop style ties, available separately.

Purchase as a unit.

Mutiservice Access and Transport over SDH, Carrier Ethernet, PTN MPLS‐TP

Muti‐services Mutiplexer TDM/PDH DS0 cross connect DACS

These Multi‐services multiplexers convert analogue voices and data signals in n.64kbps channels to transmit as Time

Domain Multiplexing (TDM). These DACS cross‐connect (DS0) signals transport over multiples E1 2Mbps or T1

1.5Mbps. The different modular models support few to high density of interfaces as: Voice E1‐CAS, FXO/FXS,

E&M, conferences, magneto; Data synch X21, V35, EIA530, async RS232/485/422, G703, Bridge, contact;

Dedicated C37.94, Teleprotection, Ethernet Layer2/3 over WAN interfaces E1/T1 or TDMoE.

SDH/SONET Transport of TDM/PDH circuits and Ethernet EoS

SDH/SONET uses a synchronous technology to carry independent TDM flows over short or very long distance fiber

optics. These multiplexers are carrying together Ethernet (EoS) or ATM interface in same fibers. Loop offer compact

systems and full modular systems to control STM16 OC48 rings, 10 rings or MSP, 504 E1/T1, E3/DS3 and 64

Hybrid Multiservice TDM DS0 and SDH/SONET Transport ‐ IMAP

These system combine small Multi‐services multiplexer DCAS with unique clock with a

O9400R full SDH/SONET multiplexer. The chassis supports 4 cards for SDH STM1/4/16,

63E1/T1, E3, EoS and 6 n.64kbps cards Multi‐services from the AM3440. This IMAP device

save CAPEX because of compact place, half number of chassis to install and to manage and

save OPEX with half power consumption and half number of nodes to support.

PseudoWire Emulation End to End (PWE3) transport of TDM over IP or Ethernet links

These Emulation technologies provides the transport of E1, FE1, T1, FT1, E3, DS3, STMx/OCxx as VC11/12, VC3,

VC4 or VC4‐xc Full Services over an IP or Ethernet or MPLS network. Our partner produces a large range of stand‐alone and card for TDM or SDH devices. These are used for Point to Point connection or Point to Multipoint

Auto-Tracking System

The AUTO-TRACKING system is an automatic adjustment system where the transmission beam

is continuously kept in the optimal position. This way a smaller beam size can be maintained. The

smaller beam size will ensure higher channel quality for your FSO device.

Every building has movements, in a regular FSO system this movement is being compensated for

with a larger transmission beam. In this case the bad weather has a bigger effect on the systems

performance above a Km distance. The AUTO-TRACKING system will let you have larger

flexibility in movement tolerances with the transmission power can go through even the harshest

weather conditions.
