About us

Gerratana Ltd. Is a leader company in the design, manufacturing, sale and after

sale service of certified and high-quality equipments, customized furnitures for food

and no-food public spaces (restaurant, coffee bar, pstries bakeries, hotels and

offices).

Our working method starts with an analysis of the specific needs of our

customers in order to create something of exclusive and unique just for them.

Our experience and professionalism led us to work in all Sicily and in Malta, where

we opened a small showroom in Birkikara.

The Gerratana’s founder, Giuseppe Gerratana, began in the ‘60s with selling of

professional equipments.

Later, in growing continuously and exponentially, he specializes in the design and

manufacture of custom furniture, relying on specialized technicians and a

production area equipped with carpentry, steel, paint booth, within an area of

75.000 square meters.

Today is the daughter, Rosalba Gerratana, who leads the company after a major

generational shift that has involved the company’s image and the reorganization of

the showroom in a more functional space.

The company’s vision is very clear: to become a leader in the Mediterranean

area, using a system of quality management for supplies to customers with the

ability to provide the know-how with selected partners.

All this through a certified production, qualified employees, international

marketing, sales strategies evolving, proactive collaborations with schools

and Public Administration.

The company is located in the industrial area Modica-Pozzallo, in a space of 7.500

square meters, of which 500 are dedicated to offices, 3.000 for the showroom and

3.500 for the training with a dedicated room with 100 seats and a small workroom.

contemporary and functional for a metropolitan lifestyle.

Production, marketing and after sales customer service of certified and high quality

equipment, as well as custom-made furnishing, for public

and commercial food and no-food settings.

Vision

To become a leader in the Mediterranean area thanks to an integrated “total

quality” system, made through a certified production, an efficient and qualified staff,

an international marketing and commercial strategy, specific in-site economic

actions, offering life-long-learning programs to schools or institutions.

In 2010, together with a group of employees chosen to get part of the company’s

property, it was created the “Quality Committee”.

The custom design

To the motto “The customer is always right” the Gerratana family prefers a more

contemporary saying: “The customer has the right to feel satisfied”. The company

has implemented its design service using advanced design software 2D and 3D,

which allows customers to “see”, in real time, their solutions.

Production Production is composed of a plant intended for the processing of the raw wood materials, a spray booth and a steel mill to work with steel and metals; the materials used areamong the most innovative, such as the Staron® and Corten®, all for a “custom made” product Made in Italy. Technical assistance In the post-sale the customer is always supported by a team of several technicians who work in the field of assistance on refrigerated equipment, cooking equipment, dough processing, washing, weighing and everything related to the world of preparation of beverages made of coffee, in all its forms. A parts warehouse with about 6,200 items allows the technical staff to address promptly any type of technical failure.

Training and events

The company has a classroom with 100 seats and a cooking laboratory.

This allows to organize seminars and thematic courses in partnership with schools

or institutions, including, for example, the Boscolo Etoile Academy and

Carpigiani Gelato University.

The same room is often a meeting place between manufacturers and

customers who can, therefore, to be constantly informed about the industry.
