Our Services

We specialise in bulk and detailed excavation on a multitude of construction sites. We areexceptionally experienced in sites with limited access or tight surrounds. Our extensive fleet ofmodern machinery is compact with zero swing, meaning none of them have a large counterweightoverhanging at the rear, hence they can fit into tight, confined spaces. Our team can manage every aspect of the excavation process, including clearing land, excavatingrock and managing bulk earthworks and landfill in preparation for construction. We offer bulk excavation services that involve removing, moving or adding large quantities of soilor rock from a particular location to another. We also manage detailed excavation such as buildingfoundations and footings.

DIG IT has highly skilled, experienced and confident piling contractors offering concrete, bored,shoring and screw piling services. We recognise piling is an essential part of any construction project as it provides the crucialsupport and foundation needed to uphold any building. It is especially important when deep excavation is undertaken in the close proximity of neighbouring buildings or thefoundation ground is not suitable to support the structure alone. We will undertake a thorough assessment prior to starting any project; assessing soil conditionsand depth, depth and diameter of holes required and underlying rock type. Rock saws deliver an efficient, accurate solution to excavate rock for structural foundations built onchallenging materials. They have low noise levels and reduced vibration making them ideal fordemolition projects that require minimal noise from council. They are recommended for projects inolder style properties and sensitive environments. Our range of hammers are a great solution for breaking through rock and concrete quickly andprecisely. Pool ExcavationDIG IT is proficient in excavating spaces for concrete and fibreglass swimming pools, ponds, lappools, splash pools and spas in both residential and commercial properties. Our expert team of qualified staff will manage your project from initial site inspection and projectrun-through to completion and removal/clean-up of the project. Our StoryIn 2007, Scott Remond established DIG IT with a single excavator and tipper truck to serviceSydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Today, our fleet includes a wide range of excavators, tipper trucks,bobcats, boggie tippers, skid steers and several specialty attachments. Scott’s interest and involvement in earth-moving stems from his earlier experience working as alead hand on a rural property in north- western New South Wales.

We areproud to have grown, overcoming the challenges faced. Profits have been put back into thebusiness, purchasing the latest plant equipment. This has lead to extending the technicalcapabilities of the staff. DIG IT commenced as a three-man team. Today, 30 extremely qualified managers anddedicated and skilled personnel are employed across the office, storage yard and numerouswork sites.
