New product innovations to support further growth

!  New 3 KW inverter generator aimed at the mid and high end market

!  The newly designed, user friendly high-end SX7150 generator with improved performance stability

!  12 KW diesel generator: one of our pioneering models for the market of larger generators

!  A new 10 KW ultra silent 2 cylinder diesel generator

!  The low cost VENSH type generator mainly aimed at the Russian market

!  New T Generator with Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) technology mainly aimed at the US market

!  A specially designed 2 inch Gasoline Chemical Pump mainly aimed at North American market.

!  A new 1 INCH CLEAN WATER PUMP mainly aimed at the North American market

3. Growth Strategy & Outlook Investments in land expansion to exploit future growth opportunities

Further land expansion in 2015

!  2015 UP invested in further land expansion of 80k sqm to take advantage of an opportunity to secure land for future Company growth

!  The rational behind this is that with the ongoing development of urbanization in China, the area where the current factory is located is developing rapidly from an industrial zone to an residential and commercial hub

Land expansion (80k sqm)

Location of the production plant

!  2015 UP has completed the phase three buildings and obtained official title deeds in 2015 which was the most important step towards future growth

!  Nevertheless we decided to postpone the purchase and installment of production lines for industrial generators in consideration of the deteriorated market environment

!  But our preparation for expansion will continue and our effort on new product research and development will not stop

Business Development 2016

!  China’s growth rate in 2016 is expected to be 6.5%. A decline of 0.4 percentage points compared to 2015

!  The Chinese generator market will undergo a continued consolidation process with periods of price competition. We believe that we will emerge as a stronger player with a reputation of quality and reliability as weaker players drop out

!  Other emerging economies as a group are expected to grow by 4.1% in 2016 (2015: 4.0%)

!  In the United States growth is expected to be 2.4% in 2016, representing a stable development compared to the prior year

!  Growth in the Eurozone is expected to be 1.5% and therefore a slight decline compared to 2015

United Power Guidance 2016

!  Generate higher revenues from our commercial generator segment, residential generator segment as well as outdoor power equipment segment compared to 2015

!  Exploit M&A opportunities that strengthen our brands, sales and distribution as well as our technical capabilities

Financial Figure prospects

!  The Company’s revenue is expected to grow by a low single-digit percentage in EUR terms

!  The gross profit margin is expected to slightly decrease between 1 and 2 percentage points

!  The EBIT margin is expected to remain stable compared to the previous fiscal year

!  Intention to resume and gradually increase dividend payments as soon as the Management and Supervisory Boards are of the view that the exceptionally challenging industry circumstances impacting on the company have subsided and the company has resumed on a path of profitable growth
