ST ANDREWS FIRST AID APPFIRST AID REQUIREMENTS CALCULATOR

The Brief

Zen Agency was commissioned by St Andrews First Aid to develop a new web based requirement calculator to enable users to establish what first aid equipment and training they required within their place of work.

Our Solution

The app is aimed at private companies, local authorities and members of the public. Users are asked to enter a few details about their work environment and in turn are provided with details of any first aid training courses and equipment/supplies that they require, based upon the latest Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance and the users’ individual workplace needs.

The app then makes recommendations as to what fire safety and first aid kits are required at the users’ premises.

The Result

The app was developed using the latest web technologies, including HTML5, and is designed using a responsive template allowing users to access the online tool across all platforms.

SPS DOORGUARDDIGITAL STRATEGY

The Brief

SPS Doorguard have been delivering the best in property services across the UK and Europe for 23 years. SPS required a new content management system and a digital strategy to help promote the new website.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency delivered a new website built on the Umbraco CMS which would act as an information hub, informing potential customers of products & services. The CMS system allowed SPS to conduct any content updates or video/picture integration when required. In addition an integrated news & events feed on the homepage meant any visitors would be kept up to date with any important happenings within the industry.

The Result

The website launched which led to an increase in the number of hits helping grow the interest in SPS. The success of the new site was facilitated by the engaging nature and community feel which was created.

The Brief

Weir Power & Industrial appointed The Zen Agency to create a new microsite and email campaign to promote Weir’s Allen Steam Turbines product brand. Part of a promotional campaign targeting key sectors, the site aimed to convey Weir’s global presence, educate potential customers about the industries they operate in and offer the company’s views on the industry.

Our Solution

Zen designed and executed an email campaign which enticed recipients to click through to the new website and learn about Allen Steam Turbines and Weir. The site was designed in line with Weir’s three strategic pillars; Innovation, Collaboration and Global Capability.

The Result

The campaign was a resounding success, helping to raise the awareness of the Weir brand and increase the sales of Allen Steam Turbines.

CHIVAS SPIRITFULLY RESPONSIVE GLOBAL MAGAZINE

The Brief

Chivas Brothers had a number of different communication channels which they required to be amalgamated into one platform entitled Chivas Spirit.

It provides information globally to Chivas Brothers, Pernod Ricard and the general public.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency understood that the majority of users would be accessing the website via tablet as a result the site was built with priority optimisation capabilities for tablets.

Developed on the Umbraco platform the new system is extremely easy to use and update, Social media is fully integrated and the platform draws in feeds from a number of sources.

GLEN GARIOCHINTERACTIVE WEB PLATFORM

The Brief

Glen Garioch one of the most prestigious Scottish Whisky’s. Based in Aberdeenshire the brief was to use their branding to push the digital communications and provide an interactive platform provided on an Umbraco CMS.

They required a website that was engaging for visitors and one that would give them a reason to return.

Our Solution

Zen provided a full digital strategy design and build of the Glen Garioch site on an Umbraco system. This was then launched and allowed them to promote their caskings special bottling along with the current stock range.

It was a user friendly website which utilised the latest in web development technology.

The Result

The site was used as a platform to interact with all new customers and current customers that were informed of new releases and caskings. A number of engaging features were added which helped interactivity with visitors; these included a number of feeds on the homepage such as a newsfeed and Youtube.

SCOTCHNET GLOBAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The Brief

Chivas Brothers is the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, the world’s co-leader in wine and spirits.

Chivas required a platform that that was not front public facing and allowed worldwide integration with all their global marketing suppliers. The platform had to have a number of different functions allowing access to all assets and information about each of the premium and super premium brands within the group.

Our Solution

Zen developed on the Umbraco platform an Asset management system with a Shopping cart capability. Allowing moderated access to Pernod Ricard’s Global advertising agency roster. The information would take up 1.5tb of space and allowed agencies to upload and download all the branding assets for each individual brand.

The Result

The system worked for the best part of 7 years successfully on a global scale allowing the assets of all Pernod Ricard brands to be distributed worldwide to marketing companies from Japan to Mexico.

A1 TOYSDIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY

The Brief

Coming up to the busy Christmas period A1 Toys received a number of UK exclusive toys for Power Rangers, Transformers and My Little Pony which they wanted to promote.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency put a strategy in place to promote the new exclusive toys through the use of targeted Facebook campaigns. We ran three separate campaigns for each of the different target markets ensuring we were targeting people with interests which were related to the products.

A/B testing was carried out on the ad copy to maximise results.

The Result

We ran the campaign for just under 1 month within the required budget set out by A1 Toys.

The adverts produced a total of 5751 clicks to the website. The targeted nature of the campaign ensured the advert was only shown to relevant people, helping to keep the overall cost down.

The number of Facebook likes increased significantly.

SCOTMIDWEBSITE PORTAL ON UMBRACO CMS

The Brief

Scotmid’s site was lacking interactivity and was failing to engage their customers. Their new site was to act as a portal built to inform Scotmid’s customers of the latest company news and detail the extensive work the organisation does throughout Scotland.

Our Solution

Zen launched an Umbraco-based corporate and retail portal for Scotmid, creating five sites which are all managed via the same CMS. The site was easy to update and offered a number of interactive functions including a Google Maps app, videos embedded from YouTube and a timeline detailing the company’s history. An extranet has also been created which gives Scotmid members with shares in the business access to secure information.

The Result

The new sites performed well with Zen reporting regular, monthly analytics to Scotmid. Since their launch, the company’s social media following has increased dramatically with more users visiting the site via social networking sites and news feeds, every day.

SYNTELATE USER FRIENDLY BROCHURE SITE

The Brief

For more than 20 years synTelate has been providing software solutions within the customer services sector.

Having established a successful business, synTelate wanted to very quickly create a new website that highlighted their services to key clients, with video content and strong calls to action (CTAs) all within an aesthetically clean, attractive site.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency worked fast to create the best site possible within a very short time frame, for synTelate to move their business on quickly and efficiently, thus enabling them to develop the business into new target markets while seamlessly maintaining business with existing clients.

The Result

The new brochure site included a calculator so that visitors can quickly assess the potential savings available when engaging synTelate to work on their behalf, eschewing the values of the synTelate way of working. The new website was a very clean, user friendly platform, which also enabled full integration with its chosen social media channels and latest news area.

The Brief

The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is Scotland’s leading mental health charity.

SAMH required an Intranet that would incorporate a new content management system, newsfeeds, online brochures, and the ability to distribute information via social networks. In addition to developing the Intranet, the organisation also required an online marketing strategy to promote it.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency delivered an Intranet which acted as a news hub, allowing SAMH to post and distribute relevant content via a range of channels, all through a single CMS.

We also developed a social media strategy that enabled SAMH to develop a two-way communication channel for connecting with those interested in their mission.

The Result

The finished site offers the charity a means of communicating their work more effectively to a wider audience, keeping visitors up to date with regular news and details of events, while also increasing interactivity.

TURNING POINT SCOTLANDINTRANET ON UMBRACO CMS

The Brief

Turning Point Scotland is Scotland’s national charitable organisation listing learning disability, drugs and mental health. TPS required a new intranet system which would increase enquiries, provide stakeholders with the best possible user experience and be consistent with the current branding.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency developed the new intranet system on the Umbraco CMS. This system was fully responsive allowing for ease of use on all platforms. The CMS was highly engaging through integration with social feeds, videos and compelling images. The intranet had a whole host of functionality including a booking system, discussion forum and vacancies section.

The Result

The new intranet system provided TPS the platform to enhance their work practices. Real time information such as the latest news was can be delivered through the CMS. Full training was provided to TPS on the new system and we continue to support them on their new platform.

BBCWEBSITE DESIGN AND BUILD

The Brief

BBC Radio Scotland required a new website for their ‘Days Like This’ project. Run in association with the Scottish Book Trust, it allows users to submit their story of a ‘Day Like This’ on the website.

Our Solution

We worked alongside BBC Radio Scotland’s new media team to design the new ‘Days Like This’ website, exploring design concepts, ideas and ways to maximise the user experience while adhering to the BBC’s brand and accessibility guidelines.

Users can submit their own stories, listen to other stories, search the library, watch videos and pick-up story telling tips.

The Result

The new website went live within a number of short weeks, running to time and budget. It was an instant success and received solid readership on the web.

DUART CASTLEWEBSITE WITH INTEGRATED ECOMMERCE SYSTEM

The Brief

Duart Castle situated on the Isle of Mull is the ancestral home to the Clan Maclean and one of Scotland’s leading historical attractions. They enjoy a significant amount of interest from international customers. The brief was for an upgrade on their current system that would deliver a web design and build for a premium client.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency proposed a new website to be introduced that acts as an information hub conveying relevant and engaging contents to users. In addition there would be a built in e-commerce system which would deliver a simple checkout experience for their target market. The site would be fully integrated with social feeds and also include a blog section for regular updating.

The Result

The Duart Castle website was launched January 2015, it’s highly image led and provides the castle with a number of key landing pages within the site. Full training on the CMS was provided to allow for changes and updates to be made easily.

SCONE PALACEONLINE MARKETING STRATEGY

The Brief

Scone Palace was the crowning place of the Scottish kings and queens and is one of Scotland’s most famous historic buildings. Scone required an online strategy which encompassed SEO, Content Marketing and E-Mail marketing to drive targeted traffic to the website and increase online conversions

Our Solution

Scone Palace had a number of key landing areas within their website which appealed to a variety of different users. As a result we conducted keyword research to properly optimise the website for these terms. We created a 12 month blog plan for creating content which was relevant and engaging for users.

The Result

We continue to work with Scone Palace on their digital marketing strategy while providing monthly reports based on data through Google Analytics. We regularly provide advice on best practices for their current website and also provide hosting for the site.

The Brief

Glenmor is the luxury holiday village situated at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire Scotland. As part of Glenmor’s overall sales strategy they required an agency to manage their digital marketing communications and the development of an SEO strategy for the website.

Our Solution

We were hired to provide an online consultancy for Glenmor; our approach included a full digital strategy for Gleneagles and monthly dedicated support, managing and offering advice on areas of online marketing that should be focused on which included SEO, PPC, Social Media Strategy etc. The overall strategy was to increase the number of qualified users to aid in converting visitors to sales.

The Result

We developed and implemented a successful digital strategy, monitoring the success of all SEO, Social Media and PPC activity to ensure a healthy return on investment. Our work in Gleneagles Glenmor luxury seasonal ownership apartments saw goal conversions up 50% year on year.

HILTON VARIETY OF DIGITAL PROJECTS

The Brief

The Hilton group is one of the most renowned international chains of full service hotels. We have been an approved supplier of The Hilton since 2005 and we worked with them on a global scale. Most recently they were looking for a way to make booking systems easier for business customers and making the process as user friendly as possible.

Our Solution

We worked closely with the Hilton e-commerce and marketing team on a variety of projects with a number of hotels across Europe. Examples of this work include User customisable web pages for personalised bookings, an interactive event planner for the prestigious Waldorf Astoria and seasonal landing pages with online advertising campaigns amongst other things.

The Result

We created a friendlier user experience through online booking tools and event planners such as the Waldorf Astoria event planner. We designed and implemented a seasonal campaign and landing page for the fall campaign which promoted the Hilton’s top destinations.

The Brief

Ayrshire College operating since 2013 plays a key role in the community by ensuring that students develop the right skills and positive attitudes essential to succeed. Ayrshire College required a new website built on a CMS system that would act for a one stop interactive resource for existing students and staff whilst attracting new prospective students to enrol at the college.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency designed and developed a new site on the Umbraco CMS allowing the college staff to easily update the website with content, images and videos, ensuring the site acted as an interactive hub for any users. The simple navigation and architecture of the build allowed for information to be found quickly and promptly.

The Result

Ayrshire College was delighted with the fresh look and feel of the new website. The integration of the social channels allowed interaction with any users easily and encouraged repeat visits. The Brief

The Winning Students sports scholarship programme provides talented athletes the funding and academic flexibility that enables them to compete at the highest level in their sport and in their studies.

The Zen Agency was appointed to re-design the Winning Students’ Intranet and the branding for its social media channels, to convey a vibrant feel while highlighting the value of the sport programme.

Our Solution

The Zen Agency provided engaging, uncluttered pages with clear links to athlete profiles as well as themed sections for each of the scholarship programme’s core sports.

We incorporated informative case studies into the fresh design, as well as a ‘Graduate’ Hall of Fame section. Branding for the programme’s social media channels was updated to be consistent with the fresh look and feel of the new site.

The University is delighted with the fresh new design and branding, viewing it as befitting the profile and status of the Winning Students programme.
