Smart design: The ergonomic doorassembly was designed to to allow

Live Z Axis: The Compact seriescomes standard with a fully integratedprogrammable Z axis with 10" of strokeon the Compact and 16" stroke on theElite making set-up and operation quickand easy.

20 Watt Pulsed Fiber Laser: TheCompact series comes standard with atrue 20 watt pulsed fiber laser. So manycompetitive systems offer lower poweredlasers as their standard offering, knowingthat you will need more power toefficiently mark your parts. Make sureyou get enough power for the job!

Optics: The Compact series boastsa large scan field and small spotsize. The Compact is capable of usingeither an f-160 theta lens or an f-254with a part height of up to 6". The Elitecan handle a f-160 thru an f-420 with amaximum part height of 12".

Dynamic text creation is a Fiberscan C5™feature that allows building of a marking projectfrom a file that exists in a text format. Fiberscandynamically links to an external text file for thecreation of serial numbers and/or barcodes.This feature is often used when multiplemarks on a common layout exists, butvarying text is required.Simply link to a text file, and selectthe desired justification and atruntime, the object will automaticallyextract the correct line or lines fromthe file and mark the part. Productivityfeatures like “Text Merge” is anotherfeature that allows large lists of string values, such as names, etc, to be merged with the text object to create larger batch files, resultingin true productivity.

The Fiberscan C5™ adds automation featuresto the Compact that allow accessories like ourrotary chuck, 2 station rotary indexer, XY tableor even a conveyor to be added to the Compactfor true automation (model dependent).

The Compact comes automation ready sooptions can be added to it to

expand the productioncapabilities of your lasersystem. Fiberscan C5™integrates the automationand control of these

options within yourprogram files so complexautomation can be easilycreated and saved with eachjob file.

Rotary Axis: Our rotary axisallows for marking on roundobjects or indexing objects tomark on a flat surface. With aresolution of .0005 our Rotaryoption is a high precision indexdevice ready for the mostprecise marking

applications.

2 Station Rotary Indexer:Set up 2 work stations with our

auto rotary indexer. Users load/unload while the laser marks onthe opposite station. Our indexeroption also allows use in single ordual station modes. It also allowsthe user to set-up 2 different jobssimultaneously allowing for mixed product production.

Laser Upgrades: The Compact’sFiber Laser power can beupgraded to 30 or 50 watts andeven 100 watts for the Elite.Additional laser options include532 (green) or Sealed CO2.

About Lasers and Substrates

Marking: Metals and plastics arebest marked with a fiber laser system.Organic materials like Wood, Paper,and Glass are best marked with aCO2 laser system. Coated materialslike Anodized Aluminum can bemarked by both systems. Cutting: Plastics and Woods arebest cut with a CO2 laser system.

Metals can be cut with either type ofsystem depending on yourproduction needs.Some materials need to beevaluated on a case by case basis.We would be happy to provideinformation on your application, andif necessary, perform testing on yourmaterial. We will provide you withsamples and run times.
