Sheridan CollegeSheridan’s Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design is Canada’s largest arts school and is recognized internationally for its outstanding animation program. The campus is also home to the Canadian Theatre Project, an incubator for new musicals, and was the starting point for the Broadway musical Come From Away.
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH)Opened in December 2015, OTMH is a best-in-class health care facility employing over 2,000 people. The hospital holds a teaching partnership with McMaster University and features the latest in patient care technology, including advanced automated laboratory testing.

DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY
Since 2010, Oakville has averaged 500,000 sq. ft. of new commercial and office development each year, providing space for companies like Aviva Canada and PCL Constructors Canada to relocate.
NEW COWORKING SPACES
New to the small office market are two coworking spaces: Alternawork near Bronte GO and ACE Coworking in Downtown Oakville. These new facilities opened in 2017 and provide flexible space for start-ups and entrepreneurs.
GO TRANSIT IN OAKVILLE
Oakville’s all-day, two-way GO service was enhanced in September, now offering commuters 15-minute mid-day connections to downtown Toronto.
