Community Mapping: Linking Video to Your Map Using YouTubeASKHow can I attach a video to a geographical position on my map? Which tools are available for doing this?

INVESTIGATEWhen videos are used with positional information on a map, they can provide exciting information about the geographic objects. For example, if you attended a live concert and wanted to share the experience with your friends who could not attend it, you could use GPS to record the geographic position where the concert took place and with iFlip, you could record video. You can then mark the position of the concert in GoogleMaps, attach the video to your map, and send the map to your friends. Your friends will be able to view the video in the spatial context where they can zoom-in, zoom-out, and pan map to explore the places around the concert. Or if you choose to map the skate parks in your community, you may want to enhance your map with video showing the unique features each park offers plus you can show people skateboarding in each park.
