Why is it hard to view others as more significant than self? Pride is very self-referencing. It keeps us focused on our preferences. How do you look to the interests of others? How would others who know you say that you demonstrate interest in their interests? Re-read Philippians 2:6-8. Jesus became human, emptied himself out in service and became a sacrifice! How is the mindset different than your own? How are you moving toward being a servant and sacrifice? One of the big ways that we can move from selfish, to servant is by BLESSing others. Who are you going to BLESS this week? How do you intend to BLESS them?
