Townsville City Council’s Community Centres are available for regular or casual hire by community groups, government and non-government organisations, businesses, and individuals.
To arrange bookings of any of our community centres please contact Townsville City Council on 13 48 10 or visit one of our Customer Service Centres.
All community centres have accessible toilets, wide doors to allow for mobility aids, access ramps, air conditioning, fans and lights.
FACILITY FEES AND CHARGES
Bookings at our facilities attract a fee for hire and other fees and charges as the occasion requires. You can find these fees at Council’s website townsville.qld.gov.au
Bookings are confirmed when you have returned your fully paid, signed agreement. Once we have received the required documents and payment, you will receive confirmation in writing from one of our Officers.
COMMUNITY RUN CENTRES
A range of Council owned facilities are run by the community and used extensively by community groups. These are:

Great for conferences, meetings, small classes, exercise classes and yoga. Entry is through double glass doors to the rear of the shopping centre, to the right of the florist.

This popular and picturesque location is great for milestone birthday celebrations, christenings, baby showers, weddings and wedding receptions. There are beautiful views across the river and downstream. Entry is from Riverside Blvd and via the stairs from the riverside of the building.
