Chip Carving à la GougeUnlike traditional chip carving, which requires a very sharp knife and a strong hand, gouge chip carving is done with a mallet and standard woodcarving gouges. After a few simple exercises in making vertical cuts and chip removal, you will complete a design of your choice on a basswood trivet and finish it with an accent of cocoa and baby oil. SAT/ACT Preparation - Part 1Making the decision to attend college is probably one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make, and your performance on college entrance exams is instrumental in determining your college choice. Universities and colleges throughout the U.S. require applicants to take the SAT or ACT as part of their evaluation package. This course will prepare you for both tests.Master the Reading, Writing, English, and Science questions on the ACT and new SAT. ED2GO $95 ONLINE

SAT/ACT Preparation - Part 2Master the math questions on the ACT and new SAT. The ACT math tests your knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics. This course provides you with a complete math review of all these subjects. CLASS CANCELLATIONS:Community Education reserves the right to cancel class due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds or class credit are given if Community Education cancels the class.

EMERGENCY/SEVERE WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:In questionable weather conditions, listen for class cancellations on local radio and television stations. When school is cancelled, Community Education classes are cancelled. Participants will not be called individually. Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled.

UNABLE TO ATTEND? Driver Education Policy: If you are unable to attend class as planned, you must call the Community Education office at least 72 business hours prior to your first class meeting. Driver Education charges a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee.
