Capitalism Communism
• Found mostly in industrialized nations (Japan, US, most of Europe)
• Found mostly in less developed countries with big agricultural sectors (China, Cuba, North Korea etc.)

• Usually associated with a democratic government
• Usually associated with an autocratic or oligarchic government
Capitalism Communism
• Allows people to make as much money as possible.
• The intention is for everyone in society to be as equal as possible.
Capitalism Communism
• Much more freedom to choose your job and therefore make the money you want
• Government has some say in your job choice but you end up with relatively equal pay anyway
Capitalism Communism
• Must pay for healthcare and to some degree education
• Government usually provides healthcare (usually low quality), and provides for education.
Capitalism Communism
• Prices change with the market and can sometimes be very high
• Since prices are set by the government, they are relatively stable and affordable
