Year 8 student response: An Apple! Because it needs a tree to be planted, it provides food for people, it can be juiced and provides seeds to be replanted. Therefore an apple can provide basic survival and it’s a renewable resource.

Helensvale State High’s Year 10 Honours Program is an extension of the EXCITE Academy programme
Successful students are required to select and enrol in Year 10 subjects that lay the foundation to General Subjects in Years 11 and 12 that contribute to an ATAR
An ATAR is used only for University entrance
