Innovative Energies pride ourselves on being able to provide top service to all of our custom-
ers, whatever this may look like. Our highly technical employees are always prepared towork with you, to design or repair any software related issues that may arise.
Both Modbus and DNP3 have been developed by the industrial community to be used in fac-tories, SCADA systems etc. Serial was very popular in the past in these sectors and al-though it is still used by a lot of companies, it is slowly being phased out. By saying that, wedo not believe it will disappear in the next 20 years as it is much cheaper to implement, tounderstand and to use.Modbus RTU (serial) is very popular. Serial DNP3 although used, is not as popular as theEthernet version.
SNMP has been developed specifically for use in computer networks, and has slowly found
its way into the industrial world as industry and IT are slowly merging into each other.

SNMP is now being implemented with our new LAN+ range of No-Break DC UPS Power Sup-plies and AC-DC Power Supplies. When SNMP features in power supplies it enables users tocontrol and monitor their power supplies remotely from any communication device connected tothe Internet, and be notified with the status of the system via email. Pagers or mobile phones, etc.
Features & Benefits
• Even Low power (starting from 100 Watt) battery chargers can be managed remotely• Standardized protocol• Easy monitoring & management using web browser or SNMP manager• Remote Device Management• Configurable Software
The various parameters regarding power supply and battery system (for eg. voltage, current, tem-perature etc) can be monitored remotely. The user can even set the high/low thresholds for temp, voltage etc and can receive the trap/alarmswhen this threshold limits are crossed.
