Mrs. Helen Lee’s visit of Fr. Foley in Galway, Ireland “… Unfortunately, he was taken ill

in July 2001 and had to undergo major surgery. … I was glad to find Fr. Foley looking healthy and well. … Besides celebrating mass … he visits his sister in Northern Ireland. Returning to his hometown, Limerick, now and then, he enjoys meeting old friends. Occasionally he goes to Dublin for spiritual retreats … when the weather permits, he can reinvigorate himself with a ‘glorious swim in the completely unpolluted section of the Atlantic Ocean’” -- Mrs. Lee
