Johnny Hoffman is fresh on the job as a Recology driver, but he is no stranger to the job. Johnny worked as a driver for a company that was acquired by Recology. Last year he jumped at the chance to transfer to Vacaville.

“I live in Vacaville and like being just a few minutes away from my job,” Johnny said. “I grew up in Vacaville and saw Recology collect the trash every week. I never imagined that I would be a driver here one day.”

Johnny enjoyed his previous employment but finds that Recology offers some advantages. “So far, so good,” he said. “There’s a lot more interaction here. I’m grateful to be here.”

Johnny and his wife Kirby live in Vacaville. When not working, he enjoys playing golf and visiting Lake Tahoe.
