Commanding Open Doors by Revelation

Revelation is equated to spiritual understanding, which means a spiritual issue that appears complicated has been made simple for you to understand. When there is no revelation, the secrets of God’s kingdom remain a mystery (Mark 4:11). Revelation comes from contacting the light of God’s word. God’s word is the light we need to unravel the mysteries that come our way. Therefore, the revelation of this light brings us to our open doors because the dominion of light over darkness is instant and unquestionable (John 1: 5). As believers, we must understand that every door answers to a key no matter how big the door may

be. So, no matter how difficult that situation seems, you just need the key of revelation for it to give way.

God describes revelation as the key of knowledge (Luke 11:52), which tells us that God has given us all the keys we need to access our open doors (Matthew 16:18-19). However, the depth of your knowledge of the word of God concerning any challenging issue determines the height of your escape from that issue. Therefore, no matter how difficult a situation may seem, when you have revelation and the light of God’s word concerning it, the situation is resolved (Acts 12:7-10).

What do Open Doors Signify?

i. Unhindered access to the things that we desire from God (Revelation 3:8, 1 Corinthians 16:9).

ii. Supernatural breakthroughs (Isaiah 60:11-12, Luke 5:1-2).

iii. Divine opportunities and new seasons (1 Samuel 12:6).

iv. Escape from evil (1 Corinthians 16:9).

v. Divine favour (Luke 4:14; 37).

Attributes of Light

i. Brightness. If you have light you must shine. Dark areas, connoting confusion, are eliminated in proportion to the brightness of the light you have.

ii. Heat. Light keeps you on fire, and you naturally react to anything contrary to that light.

iii. Light must maintain its source. Light must maintain its source. If you get light from God’s word, you have to remain connected to that word to continually enjoy the light.

How do I get access to revelation?

i. Through the help of the Holy Spirit.The Holy Spirit is the executor of divine plans on earth in this end time, and God has sent Him to teach us all things (John 14: 26). No one can access revelation by the flesh (1 Corinthians 2:9-10) because God is a spirit and we must serve Him in spirit and in

truth. As such, our access to revelation is by the Spirit of the Lord (John 13:16).

ii. Through a hearty search in God’s Word (Isaiah 26: 9).Revelation empowers us to escape the things that afflict the world (Jeremiah 29:13, Proverbs 20:27). The spoken word of God enables our escape (John 1:9, 2 Peter 1:4) but our search must move from being a casual search to one that involves our heart. That means we must be passionate about it, expecting to receive.

Keys to Commanding Open Doors

i. Be born-again - Anyone that is born-again cannot be limited (1 John 5:4, 1 John 4:4, John 3:7-8, Revelation 3:20) because such a person now carries the nature of God and since He cannot be limited, we cannot be held back.

ii. Engage the power of revelation - It takes revelation about a situation to command open doors for that situation (Isaiah 5:13, John 8:32, Psalm 105:17-22). Most believers suffer over things that they lack revelation on.

iii. Commit to a quality covenant walk with God - God will never break His covenant nor alter what

has gone out of His lips (Deuteronomy 8:18, Malachi 3:17-18, Psalm 89:34, Jeremiah 33:20-26). When you walk in the covenant therefore, you commit God to do His part of the covenant.

iv. Be guided by the Holy Spirit - Yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit (John 5: 30, Romans 8: 14). When God leads, He goes with the led, before the led and walks with the led (Mark 16:20).

v. Commit to kingdom stewardship as a personal lifestyle – Promote the cause of the Kingdom (Revelation 3:8, Job 6:11) Examples of kingdom stewardship include evangelism and kingdom advancement prayers.

vi. Walk by faith – There is no engagement with the supernatural without faith (Hebrews 11:3-6, Ephesians 6:13, Mark 9:23). Until faith is put to work, light cannot be activated.

vii. Engage the anointing of the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of the Lord gives revelation and no door can withstand His anointing (Isaiah 61:1-3, Isaiah 10:26, Isaiah 61:1-4, Isaiah 44:3, Isaiah 45:1).

As you engage the power of revelation for your exemption, you will command open doors in every area of life. Jesus is Lord!

Financial stagnation turned around - OluI was stagnated financially following losses incurred from investments in transportation and trading. The Wonder Double Prophetic Agenda (church evangelism programme) kicked off and I knew God had come to deliver me. I put aside my challenges, engaged vigorously in soul-winning

and prayed for God’s kingdom. After the daily morning prayer meeting, I went out to win souls for God. Some of my evangelical outreaches involved a significant distance of trekking as I did not have any money for transportation. Many mocked me, and my wife also advised that I curtail the long-distance trekking but I remained focused. I was winning souls and establishing

them in God’s kingdom. I fell behind in rent payments, my child missed out on two terms in school and I was also served a letter of forceful eviction. However, God showed up a few days to my eviction date and I secured a contract worth several millions of Naira (Nigerian currency). My family has now been delivered from stagnation. God gave us more than double for all

our shame. Indeed Matthew 6:33 is a practical reality and I give God all the glory.

Lost job divinely restored - Gabriel O.I was dismissed from my place of work on the 8th of June 2015 during the Wonder Double Prophetic Agenda (church evangelism programme). God told me to work for Him full time as I did not have a job, and I wondered how I would get paid. However, I remembered the testimony of a brother who said God paid him for soul-winning. I told God I wanted ten thousand pounds for soul-winning. I then informed my wife that the next paycheck was going to be ten thousand pounds which I wrote down in my Bible. I recalled Bishop David Oyedepo declaring that God was not a robber and that serving Him pays, so I engaged fully in the outreaches. Several souls were won into God’s kingdom and established in the church. After seven months, I was reinstated at work with an increment in remuneration worth over ten thousand pounds. I was amazed at how God supplied all our needs during the period and we lacked nothing. Truly Mathew 6:33 works. To God be all the glory.

Divine healing from hormonal imbalance - Genevieve E.For years, I have been suffering from hormonal imbalance, insomnia and migraine. During the twenty-one-day fasting and prayer season in January 2017 my only prayer request was for God to heal me as I had been on medication for a while. After the fasting and prayer season, God gave me a revelation concerning my health which I shared with a sister in

church. God led us to a scripture in Luke 13:32 and we prayed based on it. I also anointed myself from head to toe during a recent midnight prayer. Today, I am completely healed and all glory belongs to God.

I planned to apply for my permanent residence through the long residence route. I spoke to my lawyers and they informed me that I had a residence shortfall of a couple of months, which would make it difficult to resolve. Divine favour for a new job - Glory E.I completed a contract in October 2016 and was looking for a new role. I went for a couple of interviews but nothing worked out. However, in the last week of the twenty-one day prayer and fasting season, I met with Pastor Nicholas Udoh. I informed him that I had an interview that week and he congratulated me for getting the job in advance. He asked if I liked the job and I answered, “Yes.” He then declared that the job was mine, so I went for the interview with confidence. After the interview, I was notified that the employer really

liked me and felt I would be better suited to a new role that they wanted to create specifically for me. I was interviewed for this new role and received the contract documents last week. However, I noticed that the remuneration was higher than what was initially agreed. I return all the glory to God for He created a new role for me with a better pay package.

Healed from HIV - Anne Marie TI was diagnosed with HIV back in 2009. In 2016, I met a lady at Woolwich and she invited me to Winners’ Chapel. At that point in my life, I was discouraged, depressed and hopeless. I attended church and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. After the service, I met with Pastor Nicholas Udoh who prayed with me, declaring that HIV sickness will depart from me. Subsequently, I attended Shiloh 2016 (annual church convention) and Bishop David Oyedepo made a prophetic declaration that every person with HIV was healed. I believed and received the prophetic declaration. In February 2017, I went to the hospital for a HIV test. When I went back for the result I was informed that HIV could not be detected in my blood. The doctor was amazed and asked what I did to be healed, I replied, “I went to Winners Chapel’ and indeed my case is different.”

Secondly, shortly after God restored my health, the Home Office contacted my solicitor and informed him that my settlement application had been granted. In just three months of joining Winners’ Chapel, my story has changed; To God be all the glory.

When God calls obey promptly because you are important but not indispensable. God needs you but He can do without you. He will wait for you but will not waste time with you. Therefore maintain level headedness and be humble before God,
