Sole agencies:

People with vision and the passionto turn their vision into reality makethe world go round, and Porsche'sToby Venter clearly falls into thiscategory.

Having had the opportunity to visit thenew Kyalami as a Toyota guest on theHilux launch, I was amazed by what hasbeen done. It’s a case of ‘go big or gohome’ and Venter and the track team

It is good to see the corner names that Iremember from my youth dusted off – Ihope that Jukskei, Barbeque andCrowthorne remain into eternity.

There’s also no doubt that the rebirth ofKyalami is having a positive influence onlocal motorsport in general and I don’tknow of many people who have somepetrol in their veins who aren’t lookingforward to using the pristine tarmac inanger, or watching the experts doing so.

I can’t wait to do both!

BMW’s edgy F82 M4 is a highly-strunganimal, which is often the case whendiscussing thoroughbreds. Well, thanks to Novatune we’vefound even more ponies! On a goodday a stock M4 will make just shy of 300kW at the wheels on our dynamometer, but with the help of the German-engineered Novatune ECU modulewe’ve dialled that up to 350kW! We’ve done nothing else to the car,and at R42 900 including thedynamometer optimisation. thisrepresents tremendous value, especially compared to the BMWCompetition Pack, which makes abouthalf the power for twice the price…

M4+NOVATUNE=375KW KYALAMI... LOCKEDAND LOADED Our Toyota 86 Superchargedrecently completed two laps ofKyalami…unfortunately not atspeed. Instead, Stigworx (a trackdriver coaching company) used itto map the inner and outerextremities via GPS, and create acircuit layout. This will then beuploaded to a global database,so that any user of a VBOXdatalogger will automaticallyhave their driven lapsuperimposed on the circuitlayout, to show their lines – anda whole lot more. The Jaguar Simola hillclimb inKnysna is just around the corner, and our strategy for the event isMaximum Attack. With that inmind we’re pleased to confirm atwo-car attack, and in addition toour hot Golf7 R for Jacques “TheStiglet” Joubert, we will also runa similar car for Gary vanHeerden. An experienced racer,Gary tackled the hill in 2015,finishing 3rd in class. Hisexperience at Simola is going tobe very useful, and the two carswill be very similar in weight andengine specification. A full teamof our top technicians will be inattendance to make sureeverything runs like clockwork!Follow our progress on our socialmedia – Facebook, Twitter orInstagram.

When you’ve got a special toy, youdon’t want just anyone to play with it.

That’s why we offer all Unichip-basedengine upgrades with an engine mapselector, with up to five ‘power’ positions.

This can take the form of a rotary dial,

or a scrolling up/down selector whichallows you to choose different mapsdepending on the fuel currently beingused (for example a Torco-rich blend foryour track day sessions), along withnormal plus ‘valet’ or ‘family’ modeswhich effectively detunes the engine topre-defined parameters.

The owner of this Focus ST Ecoboostopted to go that route, and who canblame him after fitting a 76mmTechniflow exhaust system from front torear, with a ceramic-coated tailpipe as afinishing touch?

FOCUSSED!

Mark April 2 as ‘busy’ in yourdiary, because it is time for TunerWarz once again! And we’vethrown our weight behind thepopular Tarlton event, and will infact be the sponsor for the day –we love putting back into thesport! We intend having anumber of RGM machines bothcompeting and on display andThe Stiglet is going to have apretty busy day of it – he'll beusing the event to shakedownour Golf7 R ahead of Simola.

Own what is now aprevious-generation Hilux orFortuner? Well, rather thanreplace it, upgrade it. We’re running special offers onconversions to 3.0-litre D4-Dturbodiesels and for just R19 900we’ll remap the enginemanagement via a Unichip, fit alow-restriction air filter and a fullperformance exhaust includingthe downpipe to let it breathe –which is exactly what this engineneeds to make power! The end result is a lusty 152kWand 421 Nm, which more thanenough to see off the newcomer- not to mention give your Toyotaawesome towing ability…

You guys have done it – again! (saysAudi S5 owner Christo Fourie)

First you had my Mini…and at the timeI thought: “Ag ja, here we go - properlyget it to work for a while or so...”

But was I wrong! You fixed what theagents could not and then took the car tothe next level. Unbelievable. Every secondin that car was out of this world. Until Isold it.

Then I brought you my new baby: anAudi S5. And I thought to myself if youguys can just do half as much as you didto the Mini I will be happy. But was Iwrong. Now we call it The Beast!

The car was with you for just over aweek, and the weekend was the longestever. But it was so worth the wait. The caris amazin, and I love it more than Ithought possible – I never thought anAudi or V8 could sound and be so good!

At start-up you can hear there issomething not normal. And then pushingbeyond 7000rpm... she screams, shoutsand grunts, letting you know that all thehorses are working. Seeing that speedoclimbing more and more with the noise ofthat V8 coming out everywhere.Unbelievable!!!

The thing I like the most is that the carlooks stock standard from the outside…with only the subtle hint of your logos onthe car. Brilliant!

My son, JC, obviously knew the car waswith you guys and was even more excitedthan me to get her back. Yesterday Ipicked him and asked if he was ready. Iasked him again... are you ready? I startedthe car and he said it sounded the same.So I drove slowly onto the straight road.Put her in Sport and floored it. I wish youcould have seen his face. Those big eyesand big wide smile. I could not stoplaughing.

Just saying over and over RGMotorsportrocks. Steven, Jono and Rob: guys, thankyou so much for everything. Everyone outthere including the agents can come andlearn from you guys: the professionalism, workmanship and keeping me informedthe whole time, your explanations of thework. And everything else.

Again…GREAT WORK!!!

HAPPY CUSTOMER

Ford’s V8 Mustang is just begging formore, and we’ve obliged. Our first ‘Stang customer roarednoisily into the distance a few days ago, sporting a 76mm Techniflow exhaust(complete with low-restriction race-speccatalytic convertors) and enginemanagement upgrade.

The devil is in the detail, or so thesaying goes, and while the exterior looksdifferent, all we’ve done is change thecolour of the stock 19-inch wheels tomatte black. And while you won’t noticeit (which is the entire point) the car alsohas VPS paintwork protecting film fittedto the front, to keep that shine...
